Shurpi & Ghagra’s Wedding in Swarg: A Divine Comedy
(Scene: The grand halls of Swarg are decorated with golden lotuses, floating garlands, and shimmering clouds. Devas, rishis, gandharvas, and a very confused group of rakshasas are gathered for the most unexpected wedding in celestial history.)
The Grand Entrance
(The wedding begins with celestial trumpets blaring. Shurpi stomps in, still in her battle armor, her mace tucked behind her back. Ghagra floats in dramatically on a pink cloud, wearing an unnecessarily glittery dhoti.)
Indra (whispering to Vishnu): "Why is his dhoti sparkling like a thousand suns?"
Vishnu (smirking): "He was always a bit… extra."
Shurpi (loudly, to Ghagra): "Oi! Get off that cloud and walk like the rest of us!"
Ghagra (floating just a little lower): "Darling, I spent my whole mortal life walking. I’ve earned my celestial VIP pass!"
Ravana (whispering to Mandodari): "I should have banned magic carpets when I ruled Lanka."
The Wedding Ritual Begins
Brahma (clears throat): "We are gathered here today to witness a union that has literally transcended life and death. Do you, Shurpi, take this sorcerer—who once turned his own turban into a frog—as your husband?"
Shurpi: "I do. Even though he’s the only asura who spent more time styling his beard than sharpening his weapons."
Brahma (chuckling): "And do you, Ghagra, take this warrior—who once accidentally punched Ravana’s throne—to be your wife?"
Ghagra: "I do. And I promise to always fix whatever she destroys… or at least pretend I didn't see it."
Narad (strumming his veena): "A love story with more battles than romance, but divine nonetheless!"
The Vows & Funny Mishaps
(As the priest begins chanting, Shurpi’s mace, which she had sworn she wouldn’t bring, accidentally knocks over a tray of celestial sweets.)
Agni Dev (dodging laddoos): "Can we get through one ceremony without destruction?!"
Ghagra (grinning): "Nope. It’s part of the package, my lord."
(As the vows proceed, Ghagra’s enchanted dhoti starts changing colors mid-ceremony, from gold to purple to neon green.)
Shurpi (squinting): "Are you trying to outshine the sun with that outfit?"
Ghagra: "Just making sure all the devas remember this day!"
Surya Dev (shielding his eyes): "Trust me, we won’t forget."
The Rakshasa Family Drama
(Meanwhile, the rakshasa family is causing its own ruckus in the divine gathering.)
Kumbhakarna (half-asleep, muttering): "Wake me up when the food is served…"
Meghnad (to Narad): "Can you play something less romantic? Maybe a battle march?"
Mandodari (to Ravana): "I can’t believe we’re at a wedding where nobody is plotting revenge."
Ravana (sighs): "I miss the old days."
The Final Blessings & Hilarious Chaos
Brahma: "With the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and—"
(Before he can finish, Shurpi excitedly lifts Ghagra in the air, accidentally knocking over a celestial chandelier.)
Vishnu (to Lakshmi, shaking his head): "They really never change, do they?"
Lakshmi (laughing): "And that’s why this wedding is unforgettable."
(As the ceremony ends, divine fireworks explode in the sky, but thanks to an "unexpected" spell by Ghagra, one of them bursts into the shape of Shurpi’s mace.)
Ghagra (winking): "A wedding gift for my warrior queen."
Shurpi (grinning): "You’re lucky I love you, glitter man."
(The whole of Swarg erupts in laughter and cheers, as the chaotic couple embarks on their happily-ever-after… after death.)
🎉 THE END! 🎉
