janak and sunaina had a son lakshminidhi who along with his wife siddhi did important rituals in marriage

janak and sunaina adopted sita

his other wife sukanti gave birth to

urmila

kushadhvaj wife gave birth to

mandavi and shrutakirti

i am not sure

may be

even they had different mothers

Wow. Because story sounds very similar how Ram and his brothers were born except they were not adopted.

Don’t think this version is reliable. Maybe adapted from some regional folk tale ?

I did come across this story but didn't know where it was from and thought it was one of the many fanciful versions. Some stories say Kushadhwaja had a son and he was the one who ruled after Janaka.
