I wasn't 100% sure, but since they have Sujay as Ram and Prachi as Sita, I thought the makers would use more of their expressions and silent communication in that scene, rather than giving them some dialogues that may or may not have been able to make the meeting scene that impactful.

But I wanted that scene to be little longer.

in shrimad ramayan, sumita is shown younger than kaikeyi and in ram siya ke lav kush she was shown elder than her, interestingly in valmiki ramayan dasharath had around 350 wives and regarding brother and sister, marriage proposal for lakshman urmila was made before that of bharat mandavi shatrughn shrutakirti

also khir was given first to kaushalya then to sumitra then to kaikeyi then again to sumitra

contrary in later chapter ram addresses kaikeyi as middle mother
