They treated exams lyk a joke in the show ....exam k dn subah candidate 10 members k liye khana bana rhi hai...nd dats lauded coz u r a woman so u should always prioritize ur family over ur own self

Main exam k dn apni glass mein pani bhar k nhi peeti😂 ofcourse i wont expect dat amongst strangers (in laws) bt mein khud khana kha lu wo bohot hai

The leads chemistry pulled me towards the show nd i started to watch it much later on also becoz my exams got postponed nd i was bored

Honestly odr than the leads chemistry nd the brilliant acting and potrayal of anokhi's struggle in the initial episodes deir is nothing remarkable abt the show

Isn't it? I love women like Anokhi

But towards the end they sort of even butchered her character just to give the show its oh so happy ending

Kapurthala Anokhi remains superior for me >

And so many issues were left unexplored

FF writers do a better job tbh

I Agree!!

I think the story was more inspired by Shagun's curse........

So much is expected from women bt then nobody cares about what a woman wants!! Her opinions, her choices are seen as a challenge to society, to male egos!!

Every track is incomplete...there is so much to b told n understood in it.....they wanted to end the show so story n characters were messed up

Though the show name is Shaurya aur Anokhi ki kahani bt Anokhi's kahani wasn't narrated properly..

Sahi mein yaar sahi mein

And where was her steel spine husband? Also her supportive father in law? Should they not have intervened here and asked the family members not to make an examinee do all house chores few hours before an exam? And itna rich family, aur ghar mein ek naukar/naukrani bhi nahi hai? Hum middle class gharwalon mein ek hai par Sabherwals mein ek bhi nahi hai matlab hadd hai yaar kuchh bhi

Sirf haath mein pen thopne se and recollection of memory par speech dene se koi supportive husband nahi ban jata

Aur Anokhi bhi yaar, kaun bola hai use Sabherwals ka samaj sevika banne? Sara pressure apne upar le li jaise uske pehle ane se iss ghar pe kabhi breakfast na bana ho

Chup Chap padhai kar leti bhar mein jaye Badi maa ki badi badi bate but then again ITV bahu so yep khana banana hi padha

I hav an issue with potrayal of women perfectly balancing every aspect of their lives from their 20s in every itv show...

lyk why expect women to do dat in the 1st place

why cant they show people making it easy for her, burdening her with less responsibilities

nd the woman choosing to jst focus on 1 thing at a time nd not trying to be a superhuman

Why couldn't dey show anokhi denying to cook for so many people nd wait for their validation in dat "pehli rasoi" ritual...she never lyked cooking, never knew to cook why would she den do that after marriage when clearly it wasnt required

I stopped watching the show after that pehli rasoi ritual.... shaurya was potrayed at his lowest there

Aisi husband ko jo sirf muh mein mithi batein kare aur expect kare uske gharwalo ko khana banake khilau, i wont wait 2 days to divorce him

To show a woman "mahaan" she has to go through all this multitasking in itv norms, far from reality

Kyu mahaan banne ha yr kisi ko bhi...what's the need?

We are all flawed... the reality!

Writers couldn't balance between the whole career and love story thing honestly and completely shifted the focus to the love story only and highlighted onto the fact that I "one should not give up on love"

Even if a season 2 comes (the amount of demand I see makes me think that a possibility is there) I want a reboot or something where they focus on the character growth of Anokhi and Shaurya also a focus on Shaan/Aastha back story would be a cherry on top of the cake

The only parallel love story that I genuinely liked in the show

Writers never wrote for the audience or for the sake.of a good script in itv..

They did for trps..

Honestly the script was good had they stuck to it and developed it properly..

But all they cared for is trps..

Cause honestly any sane girl would steer clear of Shaurya and go for Ahir.. cause SS was never redeemed..

Besides career aspect and the student teacher aspect was not properly explored or justified wd good dialogues and scripts..

It was never meant to be just a love story .

It was meant to show some real life experiences but unfortunately it cud not ..

The chemistry of the leads kinda salvaged the show . That was the oomph factor

Also as far as I knew Anokhi didn't know how to cook, how did she make all those food then? The math is not mathing here. Exactly that's what a family is. They burdened her with all the responsibilities and then her husband went on to say "ye tumhare liye koi challenge hai hi nahi" something along that line and then when she was applauded for her cooking in her first rasoi her husband just sent her a flying kiss? And Anokhi like a beautiful mannequin beared it all which is definitely NOT her character trait, she literally tried to be the superwoman after getting married like wut?

If I were Anokhi, if not directly, I would have subtly pointed out the injustice and unfairness being done to me at the table so that it goes down well and sound to the audience sitting there
