Let's relive SAAKK Season 1 together from the beginning, as we manifest a Season 2 together!

Alok and his kidnap gang are just like Alok good for nothing. Shaurya is a good human being because he chose to risk his life to save a girl not knowing what he would be facing. Imagine Anokhi's shock when she saw him coming to her rescue. Then Shaurya's turn when he saw the girl concerned is Anokhi. once all his tashan, and fights are done Shaurya catches Anokhi in his arms and looks at another Anokhi. A frail, vulnerable girl, helpless. The playing of the song from Dharak, brings an air of serenity to the otherwise frightening and frenetic time. The first allusion to opposites attract and they complement each other.

These are Shaurya's feelings where he exists because of Anokhi, He is complete because Anokhi compliments him, she is the yin to his yang...

Marhami sa chand hai tu..Anokhi is the soothing moonlight to

Diljala sa main andhera.. the charred darkness of Shaurya

Ek dooje, ke liye hain and they are made for each other

Neend meri khwab teraWhile Shaurya is sleep, Anokhi is the dream

Tu ghata hai, phuhaar ki while you are the clouds on the verge raining

Main ghadi intezaar ki I am the time in wait

Apna milna likha issi baras hai na...We are meant for each other, it is written in our destiny this year

Jo meri manzilon ko jaati hai...The way to my destination

Tere naam ki koi sadak hai na...is the road baring your name

Jo Mere Dil Ko Dil Banati Hai..My heart exist

Tere naam ki koi dhadak hai na...because its your heartbeat

Just this part of the episode was soooo soothing to the heart...

I saw a sense of possessiveness in Shaurya. the way he asks her why she is walking around at this time all alone. he also acceptes that Anokhi will start with her lecture and she in fact was completely correct in that she did not ask to be kidnapped and when she alluded to the fact that men do not face the same problem as women wrt safety on the road, Shaurya did in fact reflect on it.

The whole episode of convincing her to come in his car and when the latter categorically refused it must have hurt him as he clearly remembers Anokhi happily travelling with Ahir to SIAC. He did make a reference to it, but dumd Anokhi did not understand.

His inadvertently hurting her arm and immediately asking for forgiveness did get Anokhi thinking.

Agar man hi man gali dena ban kiya, to baith sakti ho

Itna tum sir mat bulaya karo-

That was quite out of the blue. And maybe Shaurya himself did not think before saying that. At heart he is no more in Prof-stdent mode, he is very possessive of Anokhi, and maube want to enjoy the same privilege that Ahir has with Anokhi.

Par Sir, Agar Sir nahin bulawun to kya bulawun sir?

For someone not supposed to call him sir, that was quite a lot of sirs...

They both looked very cute here.

Finally they shared a joke 'the date'...

Best way to end an episode ...

I didn't agree completely with Anokhi here. Girls need to be careful. You can't change the society even if we want equal rights. I felt so bad for Shaurya. He didn't deserve that lecture.

"Keep trying" was the best part. You are right both if them looked cute. And I thought now they will become friends but all unexpected happened next day😒

I love this episode. It ws the first one where the gr8 Shaurya Shabarwal started to goof up n spilled out some of his inner wishes "itna bhi sir mat kahiye". Something I think even he didn't acknowledge, but he wanted rights on her. Sole rights.

Where there is trouble there is Anokhi, where there is Anokhi, there is always Shaurya!

Honestly, a very random line that was said in today's episode....but think about it, its true.

I am assuming alok wanted to scare anokhi into leaving chandighar but anything alok touches is bound to fail so well...sigh! Like everyone I am glad Shaurya went to save someone in trouble not just Anokhi. But clearly when he saw it was Anokhi, I am sure his mind went berserk. Notice how aggressively he says 'dont touch her!', yes...we are getting to see the possessive side of Shaurya getting out. A lot of dishoom dishoom (what was with the gun?!?!? Who carries a gun like this?!?!? They really made Shaurya larger than life!) and then we get that semi hug.

That scene has a separate fan base. The beauty of the song and its meaning sits so well here. A vulnerable Anokhi and an gentle shaurya who does not kno what to do next.

The conversation that follow's has no right or wrong. It is foolish to walk on a empty road alone at night for both men and women because of a lot of reasons and Anokhi is also right that its a man's problem and we curb a woman's freedom and its not possible to take public transport all the time. Their back and forth is good and i also felt Shaurya took her seriously. He hurts her trying to help her and apologizes (but that is his problem, he does it again!)

Her opening the door and begging her to get in will repeat in the future and he will still wait patiently even then. He is curious about her father in the car (I wish we could see that conversation!!!) and yet holds his tongue. He says he is not afraid of being seen with her making me think he feels it might be inappropriate!

Dont call me sir was random but again an attempt to get out of the 'respectable zone'. Maybe it was a reaction to Ahir's presence. They shared a laugh, it was adorable!

This was a ShaKhilicious episode!!

The set up is so ITV. The heroine walks down a desolate road in the dark. She is kidnapped. Just then the hero appears and rides to her rescue. All the while the hero doesn't know he's rescuing his girl and the heroine doesn't know she's being rescued by her guy! Some practical questions I had were: How did Shaurya drive so fast to get in front of the van? Why does a professor think he can take on these gundas?

"Hero heroine ko ek saath dekhne ka maza hi kuch aur hai" the kidnapper prophesized unknowingly. When Shaurya sees that it's Anokhi, he becomes so agitated and desperate. He tried to fight but had to stop at the sight of a knife. I really thought he was getting in the car to call the police, but it was for a gun. Some more practical questions: Who the heck has a gun in their car? And why are gundas, who are ready to kidnap, so afraid of a gun?

Shakiliciousness started with a "catch and hug" and the Dhadak song and strong staring game. They're so soft looking at each other and drinking each other in.

Marhami sa chaand hai tu, diljala sa main andhera

Ek dooje ke liye hain, neend meri khwaab tera

I loved that their roller coaster conversation included some heartfelt moments but also some funny bits.

"Jahaan museebat hoti hai, wahan tum hoti ho" "Aur jahaan main hoti hu, aap kyu hoti ho"

This was a great point and counterpoint. She really is a trouble magnet. He always shows up where she is and she notices! But she asks the question like she's complaining.

"Continue, Continue"

Shaurya is used to her lectures. This lecture was really needed. Shaurya represented society with his victim blaming and Anokhi is that progressive new soch. He also displayed his privilege by assuming she's making money by working and should pay for transportation. They really don't know each other well or the circumstance that have brought them where they are. He might receive it as a lecture, but she makes some solid points. He's being practical and realistic about safety, but he's still blaming her. Anokhi makes the argument that if guys can walk free, then why can't girls? Has anyone stopped Shaurya from being out because girls might harass him, so then why are girls taught to be fearful from a young age?

"Kisiko museebat main aise akhele chod ke jaana"

She's really affected by his abandonment during the riots. But this was bad timing. He just saved her from a kidnapping. What is with her selective amnesia?

" Main kabhi nahi chaonga ke main intentionally tumhe hurt karu"

His eyes are teary eyed when he says this. As soon as she yelps in pain, all the tension between the melts and awareness creeps in. He's genuinely sorry and he apologizes on the spot.

"Ab mann hi mann gaali dena band kar diya ho to, bait sakti ho"

When she initially doesn't want to get in his car, he felt rejected and felt she chose Ahir over him by getting in the police car. But having unintentionally hurt her, he curbs his pride and hold the door open for her.

"Sir mat bulaya karo mujhe" "Sir agar sir nahi bulao to, kya bulao sir?"

After he asked not to be called sir, since he's not her professor, she used the word thrice in one sentence. Like he said, she just likes to be contrary.

"Enjoy your date sir"

Someone note the date, Anokhi Bhalla just cracked a joke to Shaurya Sabherwal!!!

Side notes:

~ Anokhi didn't see Alok on the kidnapper phone screen, but when Ahir found the suspects, why wasn't the culprit's phones checked if Alok is named in it. Also, whatever happened to the suspects? That was a loose end. SAAKK didn't like punishing anyone for their crimes.

~ The car conversation made it clear that Shakhi story has started with a confused Shaurya and a clueless Anokhi.

~ Loved that Shaurya noted that Anokhi was sad about her Papaji.

I LOVE THIS!! The lyrics and your translation of it all. This part was so soothing! Shaurya and Anokhi are really two sides of the same coin. Their roots are the same but have grown in different directions. I loved to see the change within them after they fall in love. It's such a stark difference to how they were before they met.

I love this confused Shaurya too. The one that was just realizing his feelings so was making a mess of it all. He didn't even understand what he wanted.

Yes to all of this!! We're on the same wavelength.......from Shaurya being made into a Bollywood hero to the conversation being about perspective and not right or wrong to the parallels in the future with that door opening. This is my last happy episode until the sorry scene. The Shaurya that was soft turns into a monster and needed that redemption.
