The love between the two Bhallah sisters is special in that both have grown at the hand of a father who did not appreciate them for whom they were a burden and the same is being repeated at Babli's inlaws. Babli is representing all those women who after marriage are considered good only for looking after the inlaws and the family. The contrasting nature and dreams of Anokhi are what all girls should be vying for. At the end of the day both feel they have failed the other in supporting each other,

Aastha and Anokhi are back to their usual relationship and the arrival of Shaurya at Shaan's place is an indication that Shaurya at heart knows he was wrong in the way he spoke and when he is wrong he does not need anyone to tell him to say sorry. But he also made it clear he has no relationship with aastha. I

I admire the dignity shown by aastha at that instant and accepting that the mere acknowledgement from her son is enough for her.

Of course Anokhi cannot help herself from commenting and she got a nice reply from shaurya.

Personally I found it not polite of Anokhi to be part of the conversation between Shaurya and aastha. She should have left the room and leave the mother and son to themselves.Delicate family matters does not concern her.

Finally BM has convinced Tej to send Shaurya away since Anokhi is too much of a danger in taking Shaurya from her. Shaurya is uncomfortable and cannot understand why he is so unenthusiastic about it being given he worked so hard on the project, and then he realises Anokhi is always on his mind and she is the barrier...

Fair warning! I will be showering a lot of love on Shaurya! This episode had one of my favorite Shaurya scenes. This is easily in the top 5 best KV scenes in SAAKK for me.

First, Shaurya checks up on Anokhi. "Kaisi ho tum?" Anokhi just dealt with an abusive Vineet so some frustration displaces onto Shaurya. She also takes a dig at Shaurya with "Aap to beech me se hi chale jaati ho". Anokhi thinks Shaurya is blind to his mother's pain, but at the same time Anokhi is totally dismissive of his pain. Even with all the baggage, Shaurya goes to apologize to Aastha. Chunar playing once again pulls at the heartstrings. He says "I"m sorry" which Anokhi smiled at, but the "kuch aur baat" undoes everything. I appreciate Shaurya's straight forwardness. He doesn't want any misunderstandings or misconceptions. He seems to not have much hope, so feels the need to dash Aastha's hopes too. This monologue hurts my heart every time.

"Main aapka beta nahi hoon"

He's sorry but "Aur kuch nahi badla"

"Shabd yuhi zubaan par nahi aajate.....unke peeche bhi ek kahaani hoti hai.....aur hamari kahani itne bhi great nahi hai ke uski ending happy ending ho....balki uski koyi ending ki zaroorat hi nahi hai.......hamari kahaani me, tumhe lagta hai ki tum sahi ho.....aur mere dad, tumhara pati ko lagta hai wo sahi hai, jo tumhe support karte hai, sirf tumhe support karte hai.......iss kahani me, main kaun hoon? mere kissi ne koyi parwa nahi ki hai......it's okay, zaroorat bhi nahi hai" 😭

How does Anokhi completely ignore the pain behind these words?

THE TEAR FLICK KILLS ME!! Give that man a hug!!🤗

Shaurya gets all defensive and says "I don't really care".......but he does care. He just opened his heart up and spoke his feelings to his mother, with tears in his yes. And in his most vulnerable, his feelings are again dismissed for being rude by Anokhi, yet again! Aastha wants to give him her forgiveness but I wish she'd try harder. I wish she wouldn't take his unfinished story and uncaring attitude at face value. He's a little boy begging for attention and importance. Anokhi is also overstepping with her attitude. I'm okay with him totally disregarding her and walking away. I like that, even annoyed, he excuses her from college to recuperate.

Side notes:

~ I'm glad Anokhi made a good friend like Ahir. She needed someone with power on her side to balance out the scales, otherwise she would have remained a bechari female lead.

~ Anokhi and Babli continue to be precious. She is so motivated to succeed for her sister and mother. It's heartbreaking to hear Babli call herself a "bhoj".

~ Aastha and Anokhi are also cute together. I wish we had a replay of that chai conversation when they became saas-bahu. KPs continue to go unfulfilled.

~ SIAC Patiala used to be Shaurya's dream project. The dream has changed. The new project is named ANOKHI!

I am going to watch this episode again. Anokhi could only see Astha mam in pain. She is not understanding what Shaurya has gone through all these years.

At least he opens up on that sinar night. But our show never gave any importance to Anokhis pain. He doesn't know what she has gone through. Mr. Bhalla overnight turned into good father on shakhi wedding. I wish they had given some more time to understand each other.

I love the contrast in the Bhalla sisters. It's a nature vs nurture play. They come from the same parents and were raised in the same household. Babli's dreams were destroyed by her parents and the same might have happened to Anokhi if not for Aastha. Aastha nurtured Anokhi and gave her a novel path to walk. They're two sides of the same coin. Both have dreams, one has accepted defeat and the other refuses to. As much as I complain about Anokhi, I love her will power.

I remember when this episode originally aired, there was so much conversation about Anokhi's presence during that conversation. I waffle between knowing Anokhi should have given them privacy but also no one asked her for privacy. Anokhi is very protective of Aastha and the last time Aastha was alone with Shaurya, it did not end well, so I can understand her apprehension.

Like you, my heart goes out to Shaurya. And chunar was number 1 on my playlist after I discovered it in SAAKK. I have not watched the film it is in originaly, but chunar was made for the Aastha-Shaurya scenes, and KV's acting is incredible.

Anokhi has feelings for Aastha only as the latter is her second mother. Shaurya is not important to her, but since he is important to Aastha Anokhi would make that effort.

I did not like this dialogue of forgiving him, because it looked hollow to me.

The fact he spoke to her, fulfilled her wish. But has she ever considered what he wished for? Aastha is just as selfish as Shaan.

I watched ABCD 2 and Varun Dhawan does a nice dance to the song with memories with his mom, but the use of Chunar during Shaurya's visit to Aastha was the most effective use of that song. Even when Shaurya is hiding from his mom, it's amazing visuals. There's so much more emotions that I connect with in SAAKK than I did in the movie.

You're so right that Aastha never considers Shaurya's wishes. Both his parents claim to know him, but are too selfish in their lives to consider anyone. He seems inconsequential to them, so I don't blame him for removing himself from their way. This rewatch really makes me realize that Shastha were shitty parents.

Yes! Yes and Yes!..the tear flick!

Tunnel Vision is the disease she is suffering from. Her world stands on black and white right now. What I dont understand is if she think he is so bad, why does she keep forcing herself to find good in him as she says.

Can you imagine the trauma of that child. Abandoned by parents. Used by family. No one loved him. No one. I actually liked that he was upfront about his feelings. That he wanted to maintain that distance. Self preservation is not a bad thing.

Shaurya gets all defensive and says "I don't really care".......but he does care. He just opened his heart up and spoke his feelings to his mother, with tears in his yes. ~ Anokhi and Babli continue to be precious. She is so motivated to succeed for her sister and mother. It's heartbreaking to hear Babli call herself a "bhoj". She called herself because all her life her father conditioned her to believe that

1. The desperation of the sisters who love each other and yet feel could not do enough. Because this is what we make women feel..GUILTY for everything. Also, it was an impossible situation for both of them. But i love that bond.

2. Gald Vineet saw Ahir, maybe he will back off a little

3. Ahir. He is such a positive character. He balances out the intensity Shaurya brings to the scene. He is also smart to pink up on Anokhi's hints and scare Vineet within limits that it does not impact babli.

4. I can write a separate page on Shaurya and his petty jealousy! 🤣

5. Anokhi is giving that man no room to explain or even breathe. Taunts and assumptions and still is expecting something good out of him? Why? Why does she call him the worst person and still expect goodness out of him...Why does Anokhi have these expectations?

5. The shaurya - Aastha scene. He apologized because he knew he was wrong but he also knew he had been wronged and he wanted self preservation. It broke my heart to see him like that. The way he tells him mother, his parents feel they were wronged but no one stood for him. His own father wasted away after her...just...Aastha did not say anything because she could not. She had nothing. No defense here. That tear flick..DAMN!

6. Truth bomb...you make your son bitter and expect kindness and compassion and forgiveness out of him.

7. Did anokhi just tell him that the peace he will have will be just for a day? What even?

8. I AM GLAD Shaurya took the enough is enough stand with Anokhi today. Today she sounded foolish.

Side Note 1 : Deba looked beautiful today!

Side Note 2 : The girl is annoying but in his head all the time that now he craves her attention over worldly accomplishment!

Anokhi was on point when she said that there’s no point of Babli staying in a house where there is neither respect for her nor she is loved. But where was Nikki planning to take her sister? To Shaan's flat? And it’s not easy for Babli given her confidence levels, but have seen Babli strong when it comes to fighting for Nikki. She always gave it back softly even to Vineet and Mrs Bhatia when it was to do with Nikki.

Acp, vineet and Anokhi, their conversation involving indirect references to the situation was nice.

It definitely wasn't pleasant to see ss enter the Anokhi acp conversation as we are well aware it doesn't go well with ss especially after the fact that Acp didn't give credit to ss. Ss- isn't able to see Anokhi even have a casual conversation with Acp. Does he realise why? No.., hope he had a friend who he could've shared his feelings with. Anokhi still not happy with what happened is in no moodtogive a direct answer to his simple question. Oh my god!!! How relentlessly she tries to make him realise that whatever he has done is wrong!! inspite of seeing his outburst still she leaves no opportunity. And here comes one more of her mum's preachings.😀… and though he loses his cool and says that he didn’t come to hear her lecture he still shows concern about her going to college in that condition. Is it the professor in him speaking? May be… but most of their conversations are more on a personal level and why would he feel bad if he saw one of his students talking to an Acp? That gives away a lot to what she means to him.

Ss… did Anokhi’s words affect him so much that he came to say sorry? I’m sure he felt bad from the bottom of his heart for the harsh person he was but that’s it.

It was a pleasant surprise for both Anokhi and Astha to hear ss say sorry but soon it turns out that he doesn’t want to give false hopes and makes Astha see reality that he is not her son. His hurt is so intense that any situation whatsoever can never completely eliminate it. My heart cried for Ss when he said ‘main kaun hoon?’ It was as if he was giving an explanation as to why he can never consider Astha his mother. I think Astha now realises the level of damage that Shaan and she have done to their child.

Keeping all this aside, ss is seen recollecting Astha’s words that Astha was thrown out of the house and he was snatched … but why isn’t he shown asking either G or Shaan about the same?

I think had the fest happened there would’ve been interactions between Astha, Ss and sabherwals and the story would’ve been different. But I feel the story took a complete different turn altogether.

Coming back to the episode, ss ( with still a tear of two in his eyes)continuously showing his concern about Anokhi’s health and her attendance and notes inspite of the tense situation looked genuine and cute.

Tej’s plan to keep away Shaurya from Anokhi shows how shaken they are by Anokhi’s presence in Shaurya’s life. Why are they so scared? Do they think their love is so weak that the presence of Anokhi would take their son away from them? Is it because she is Astha’s student. But why are they so scared of Astha? There should’ve been more to Astha’s back story that they are so scared. Their fear isn’t convincing enough given the present story and situation.

Ss is still so lost in the conversation that he couldn’t even react properly react to what Tej said. He half heartedly agrees but isn’t happy as his mind is fully occupied with only Miss Bhalla.
