Anokhi -My forever Jugni

Anokhi has always been a jugni for me.

As a newcomer, she is leading a cultural fest in a reputed college.

She is empowering her sis.

She commands respect for herself.

Despite being warned that he is from a different world, she wants to explore love.

Ms Bhalla is🔥🔥🔥 for me.

There are many qualities that make her her, be it her leadership skills, her confidence, her ability to not let others opinion phase her, her being shy yet not afraid of the intimacy between them.Yes her career is imp., but so are these!

Sirf padhaai se thodi strength dikhti hai, strength lies in loving fiercely, fighting for your love, making a place in a new world too!

Anokhi is one of the strongest character ever.She has fought singlehandedly all her life-wid her father,society,the mindset.Has done things without letting go of her principles.She is FIERCE in her ambition,mind, goals.Cant she be fierce,yet soft in her love?

If a woman blushes,does it reduce her strength?If she falls in love for the 1st time & wants to revel in the emotions,she is weak?If she wants to explore & assess the new relationship she feels she is entering into,does that make her forget her life goals? Blushing doesn't make her weak. That's an emotion and full of love. A fierce girl doesn't mean she has to fight all the time, she has all her emotions in place and will rebel when required. Thats the beauty of a girl.

Anokhi is fierce no doubt. I just wish Shaurya doesn't turn saviour for her every time. I want to see her tackle Shagun and her other problems by herself. I hope there are some instances where Anokhi gets to save Shaurya. But more than anything, I want Anokhi to confront Shaurya regarding what he did to Shagun. He did not love her yet he wanted her to sacrifice her dreams for him. Within a few months he has moved on to another woman and wants Shagun to forget everything. Shagun didn't play with his feelings because he never had any for her. He entered into a relationship with her like it was some business contract. But he had no reason to believe she did the same. I hope Anokhi shows him the mirror. And I hope Anokhi quickly recovers from her heartbreak and decides to focus on her life and career.

Anokhi had the guts & courage to elope from her marriage which was being done forcibly to make a career for herself, to be independent & to let others, especially her family know that being a girl necessarily doesn't mean you have to stay at home only & take care of her family 🤷🏻 A woman can be so many things!

Her fighting spirit has always been there though she went through some phrases which affected her badly (The library khaand for ex.) That's how a young girl would behave. There's nothing unnatural for heaven's sake. Its not that hard to understand

Viewers pointing out their opinions is okay but Anokhi is not weak atm. Idk why would anyone think so! They are showing the normal phrases a young girl goes through during that age, that particular period of time in her life so nicely. I've had many studious friends but apart from 2 or 3, others were having way more fun than one can imagine from a topper in the class or someone with straight A's. Being a topper doesn't mean you can't have fun in life.

Plus Anokhi is currently handling all extra curricular activities well too, just how you've mentioned 😊 & I agree, padhai is not the only option to show your strength! Being strong doesn't mean you have to fight people every time or study 24/7 LOL Who has duniya bhar ka time for that 🤪

Then the blushing scene. Ikr? Its so normal for any woman or in fact a man to blush when you're interacting with a person you're interested in 😆 If one hasn't gone through that feeling, its not our fault that you aren't sensible to understand that right? 🤣 (Not mocking any one, just stating opinions)

If you aren't at least having a crush at this beautiful time of your life which won't come back, its gonna be an empty feeling when you look back in time. I had a friend who loved Hollywood movies & watched Anime almost everyday but she told me at the age of 20 that she has never had a crush on any guy in all her 20 yrs LOL

There are few people who can be very extraordinary in that way & no way in this world is Anokhi belonging to that category. By god's grace she has a balanced life with studies, extra activities, assignments, taking care of her sister, bonding with Aastha or Ahir & finally crushing over Shaurya 😃 She's pretty normal! 🤣

Tbh the worst part is its sad seeing comments made especially by girls for Anokhi for her blushing or finding love because like we all can agree, college life isn't only about studies. Its about the amalgamation of everything beautiful 😊

Ahh Anokhi has my heart. The girl is an absolute fire. ❤️She will rise from the ashes and become a Phoenix like she has always done. She is a 20 year old who has never experienced this kind of affection from a male. Her feelings are normal. We all didn’t go to college just to study. We all went out, had crush on people and hung out with other people. I don’t think there is anything wrong with her affection and wanting to look good for Shaurya.

What I really wish to see is Shaurya telling her that she doesn’t need to change her appearance for him as he started liking her for who she is and not her appearance. Their heart connection is what laid the foundation to their relationship. It’s not superficial. Shaurya was never attracted to her based on her looks. Lately he has started noticing what she wears etc. The crux of the all this is that Anokhi has his mother’s qualities. He hasn’t started figuring that out yet. This might go the other way initially if Devi ever starts that jaap which I believe creatives will definitely show to create the doubt in shaurya’s mind. If his mother left him, why not Anokhi?

Plus Falling in love phase doesn’t have anything to do with strength, it’s pure raw emotions which she is feeling right now. Aur college just doesn’t mean studies right, it also means having fun.

If shaurya for the first time is enjoying life to the fullest she also is without any worries of her father.

In Holi episode they showed how she won’t be permitted to wear the dress In Kapurthala. She is enjoying this very feeling of freedom to the fullest and this is another aspect of feminism in addition to education; To be free to wear, do anything you want without having to explain anything to anyone. She is so happy feeling this newfound freedom, where she doesn’t have to fight for every small haq. This can be counted as the reward that she is getting after having to fight her whole life against patriarchy, the freedom she craved her whole life. And also enjoying the affection she is getting from a man for the first time in her life. This is also an important aspect in anyone’s life, specially at that age and considering her past.

Also, another itv show, they would have shown fl having to distance with ahir like character since male lead doesn’t want her to meet but here even after being revealed ki he doesn’t like him, she still spoke to ahir nicely in the holika episode. It is shaurya who is toning down his anger and getting more and more secure With each passing day, not her having to adjust around his insecurities (at least till now)

I don’t like ahir but I do like this aspect of storyline a lot.

And also she called of both ahir and shaurya in PS, without being biased. She has always been righteous and has the same spark even now.

The only complain I have is they should start adding a little more depth to her character as she learns new experiences in life and hopefully her past and struggles aren’t forgotten.

@Bold - Thank you so much for pointing that out. I love that you noticed it as well. Yes, her life is so much better that what it was back in Kapurthala. Small victories matter a lot. Having fun matters, falling in Love matters and are all important aspects of her life. ❤️
