His nature has been that he just abt says anything in his swag "i can do so much that you dont know abt". I think he opened up abt the situation w his mother and why he has those criterias but the never resolved those issues. Plus that entire r-ship was abt him and his needs. Must have been easy to propose if devi ma had told him to. and he told her "i told you what i wanted ina w wife before proposing" so the proposal came from dimaag only..kinda like a deal. And w the way he is/was w her...im sure romantic nahi hua hoga. He told her his criterias and must have said, would you want to a sabherwal bahu? instead of shaurya ki love .. i see him calling Anokhi "my love" or something.

Also no offense to anyone just my opinion I somehow don't find their love story of professor student creepy because what I think is Shaurya did not fell for Anokhi's intelligence. He fell for her that how she take stand for things, her support for her Aaastha ma'am, her courage, her determination. Basically, not for a student who he used to check out during the class. I think it's beyond classroom he fell for her so their love story is not a dirty mark on sacred relation that teacher and student share in India.

Tbh, the proposal he made to Shagun was a formality. I haven't seen it but I can guess by the way he behaved with Shagun.

Also, one thing that everyone forgets is that they started interacting with each other even before he became her professor and more than anything else, Aastha was the connecting factor for these two. Ab pehle se hi agar nazron mein baith gaye ho (subconsciously 😆) toh baad mein professor student hone se kya farak padta hain?
