Absolutely! I wish they show a time lapse or something where Anokhi has passed out and is working and Shaurya has atleast considerably overcome his toxic issues. But there are teacher-student relationships that have worked well too, my college professor (he didn't teach me per say but the under grads) married the student who graduated just that summer and they were a really good couple.

I think everything depends on the individuals than the designation besides here they are consenting adults while there was really creepy portrayal of a similar relationship in Pretty little liars with girl being underage and in school.

It happens to the best of the couples. Sometimes they support each other unconditionally and sometimes its like a devil sitting on their shoulder that convinces them to use their partners insecurities and weaknesses as a weapon so that they can win an argument.

It is like twisting their arm to contain their argument.
