Why will Shaurya fall for Anokhi?

Till now whatever I saw in the story..I felt Shaurya has nothing against Anokhi except for the fact that she is his mom's student. Other than that, he can have normal conversations with her. Anokhi on the other hand, really need the keep her lecturing in check. I seriously doubt anyone can fall for a girl who keeps lecturing you kn stuff she has no idea about. Her lecturing irritates me only, i can totally imagine how much it irritates Shaurya as a character.

Other than that, I see that he cares for her. But woudn't he be searching any student who gets lost in his premises like he searched for Anokhi (ragging track). I agree that, now the situation is different. Over few episodes, I have noted Shaurya's protectiveness towards Anokhi has increased. But I am stilll wondering why is he falling for her? Is it because of her intelligence when it comes to studies n all , or her big heart with which she forgave his sisters , or the fact that he misunderstood her (informing the media track) and he feels guilty for blaming her. Or mixture of all.

Plus, I see a slight physical attraction. Though it is not at its peak. It is just a slight one.

I don't know don't about falling..but shaurya definitely sheds all his anger and inner hatred openly in front of her..which no one shows in front of strangers..

And Anokhi's some words are not irritating or wrong...she had valid points...and shaurya understood that too..

But his intensity of hatred and hurt is soo much that...it doesn't strike him...

Shaurya is being his real self with her..however ugly..

I have read it somewhere "You don't love because of, you love someone inspite of." There is never a logical explanation or even qualities someone falls in love with. It sometimes can't be explained in words. It just happens. Your heart starts opening up to a person and you don't even realize it. If Shaurya needed a reason to fall in love he should have fallen in love hard with his ex fiancé Shagun who was a complete package. With beauty brains a good heart and she too loved Shaurya a lot. So the best explanation would be no explanation. :)

Love is a feeling...there is no rational logical explanation in matters of heart..that's the beauty..and anokhi is a fiercely loyal and genuine soul..why shouldn't anyone love her ?

Her questioning Shaurya arises from her love for astha...who literally she said is her second mother...when we want to give happiness to our loved ones..we forget boundaries

The answers above are apt. I feel the love between his family and him has a mixture of certain amount pity from almost everyone and desperation from tej and devi. It wasn’t just love. They try to be cautious around him and he does the same. Whereas Anokhi brings a the firmness, clarity and braveness ( standing up for herself/anyone) that he hasn't seen in the people around him before. She also comes with a bias but still is an observer in the old scenario not a participant.

He is the person he is today because of his past experiences (like we all are). And so his family accepts everything he says, does (that they know of) but if he is wrong Anokhi call out on his mistakes. All of us need someone in our life sometimes who will tell us things ‘as they are’ without sugar coating or without judgements. He will be seeing things in a fresh perspective with her I think and hopefully reflect. And I expect the same from her, and reduce her lectures at times 😏

It's hard to tell the difference between sea and sky, between voyager and sea. Between reality and the workings of the heart" - Kafka on the Shore, Murakami

Sometimes you need reasons to fall in love, sometimes you don't.

She's fierce, she's intelligent, she's good at debates, what more does this prof. need😂?

Jokes apart, I think she brings out his real self. She gets under his skin like no one ever did, she pushes his button at times forcing him to spill out what has been hidden, she sees beyond the mask. If love brings out the best of you, then I'd think the person is worth falling for!

I LOVE this explanation. Sometimes you can’t help who who you fall in love with... and on top of that, Anokhi is the first person who’s challenges him, who questions him. He’s used to people placating his ways and excuses his rudeness (which in some cases, are valid.)

I don’t blame him for hating his mom, I really really don’t. He’s right, a mom is more than someone who gives birth to you. He doesn’t know 100% of the details but really, Shaan and Aastha WERE wrong on some level. Especially Shaan, he should’ve taken his kid and supported his wife. People leave their families all the time.

Anokhi, well I understand where she is coming from too, but I’m glad I don’t have the mindset that you should just take abuse if its coming from your parent, because they gave you life. She shouldn’t forgive her father for the HELL he put her through. She doesn’t know the whole story, and Aastha should not be putting her in the middle.

True Shaurya is a complex guy who has many baggages and it will not be easy for him to fall and accept his feelings easily. It will take a lot of time and patience to get him out of his emotional shell. His parents really did a number on him.
