Who called the Media?

There is a leaked script doing rounds on Twitter where Anokhi and Astha are on call and she asks about Media involvement in the ragging case. Anokhi deny calling the press and Shaan gets miffed at Astha for calling the press when he had asked her to give him 2 days time to sort things out and not trusting him.

So how do you think involved the Press?

Purely from Script POV my call is it's Shaurya who has called the press. I think he himself checked the CCTV footage and knows about the involvement but he directly can't implicate his cousins as it will spoil family relationships. He will try to nudge Anokhi towards the proof but when she fails to do so he will himself anonymously call media so he can cite media pressure and police involvement with CCTV. That way his family can't blame him and he can punish the perpetrators and deliver justice to Anokhi. I hope it's Shaurya

I don't think so... Because calling media is like direct attack to college reputation.... He really care about college and family reputation

In fact I feel this media issue will created MU between shaurya and anokhi.. .

I also think it’s Shaurya. I saw one of the actors shared the script on social media and it got my brain into analyzing mode

I think it’s Anokhi who Shaan is speaking to about calling the press and his earlier request asking for time.

My guess is same as yours about who called the press. Shaurya. Because Shaan has been her biggest supporter publicly but told her to wait. But Shaurya saw what happened first hand and indirectly has been helping Anokhi from the start. So this is also his indirect way of supporting but letting her fight on her own. Once he realizes they perpetrators might go free, he’s make a bold decision.

Yes - It’s not like Shaurya to go against his family but I am sure his family is going to badmouth Anokhi once he gets back home and he won’t be able to tolerate it internally after seeing her condition first hand. On the surface he is neutral but internally he knows she’s right.


shaurya isnt completely blindsided by his family, it’s only when it comes to his mother that he is that way. He knows his cousins got easy admission to SIAC and are slackers and calls it for what it is. He is beyond BS at times.

Also his support doesn’t mean everything will be hunky dorky in ShaKhi land. Anokhi will get upset if she finds he called press without telling her. So there will be conflict. But it’s puts Shaurya on the right side of the ragging track.

Calling media would mean the students got away with the ragging and harassment so someone who wants to help Anokhi would be the one to call them. I am not sure why Vineet would call them since he’s constantly against Anokhi. Also Anokhi is his relative so involving press would mean vineet family would be involved and in the limelight. I am not sure they would want that attention.

I feel like astha would call the media as it could be the students got away with ragging or shaurya's sisters made some stories up to make Anokhi a lier so there was no justice. Or anokhi herself called the media as there was just not ragging that boy try to touch anokhi which was ignored with the college authorities.

Maybe anokhi called the media and it will give shaurya another reason to clash w her
