Chapter 2

Shaurya knocked on the door of his father's room and waited for a few minutes.

He sighed and opened the door and entered. The sight in front of him was nothing new. His father was lying on the couch with a bottle of whiskey in his hand. As usual the room was a mess.

Hell . Even slums are more cleaner than his father's room.

" Dad please uthiye. It's getting very late. " He said irritated with his father's lifestyle. This is all her fault. That Astha Sabarwal is the one who is responsible for all the problems.

" Dad please uthiye ab. "

Shaan got up slowly and looked at his son with half opened eyes , " haaa. Don't worry I will get up. "

" A very good morning to you too. " Shaurya said sarcastically and was about to go when Shaan caught his hand and gestured him to sit down.

" What is it dad? "

" I heard you broke up with Shagun. "

" Yes I did and you very well know the reason...."

" And that's the problem Shaurya. You are being absolute narcissistic and selfish. Shaurya we run a educational institution and you asked Shagun to give up her dreams. How could you?"

" I am selfish? I am?" Shaurya snapped " but it's your fault. Yours and that woman's. You live your life and let me live mine. "

" I am getting late for a meeting. Get up dad and tea is on the table. "

Saying so Shaurya walked out and rubbed his face in frustration. Why his dad and that woman were so selfish to abandon him like that.

" Shaurya beta, are you alright? " His badi ma asked worriedly.

He smiled lightly and nodded his head.

" Acha Shaurya I have selected a few girls for you. Please have a look. " She continued.

" Badi ma I trust you completely. I will marry whoever you want. I trust you with my life. "

" Then I will select a very good girl fast. "

" Nikki come here. Dekh kaun aya hai. " Rama shouted.

Anokhi came out of her and ran towards the visitor with a bright smile.

" Babli di. What a pleasant surprise. I missed you a lot. " She said hugging her sister.

" I missed you too my Nikki. " Babli replied laughing at her sister's antics.

All of a sudden anokhi's smile vanished looking at her sister's face. There was swelling on her forehead and wounds marking her beautiful face.

" Dii....who did this? Did jiju?" Anokhi asked

Babli become worried , " uffo nikki atleast let me breath. Chal ab andar chalte hain. "

Once they were inside anokhi's room, Anokhi took out medicine and started applying it on Babli's wounds carefully.

" Dii tu papaji ko bata. Why jiju did this?"

" Nikki don't worry it was just a small accident and nothing much. "

" Di don't lie...."

" I am not lying. And now please let me breath. How many questions you have?"

Anokhi smiled lightly , " acha tell me , all of a sudden this surprise arrival?"

" Well,.... This is for my Nikki's wedding. After all I have to plan a lot of things. "

" Di mujhe abhi Shaadi nahi....."

" Stop it Anokhi. " Ramesh shouted entering the room. " You will get married and it's final. Tomorrow boy's family will be here. "

" What? You have already chosen ?" Anokhi asked.

" Yes I have. Bohot bade ghar ka risha aya hai. Be careful and Babli it's your responsibility to make her presentable in front of them. " Ramesh ordered and walked out frustrated.

Anokhi sat down and sighed , " I don't know what will happen. Agar shaadi nahi ki toh mummy ko..... No I will marry. I don't know what is my destiny. "

" Shaurya's destiny is in my hand and always will be. You don't worry. " Devi said to her husband. " And that Shagun was far more clever and was very interfering. "

" We need to select a middle class girl with less aspirations. It would be better if we find someone from a small town. " Tej said.

" Ji... I have found one. " Devi said.

No matter what happens I won't let Shaurya out of my hands and I know when to show my cards. Devi thought.

Read all the chapters. The prologue was intriguing. In the first chapter, it seems that Anokhi's father is rude, similar to the show. Shorya broke up with Shagun because she wanted to study for her Ph.D. Glad that Shagun told him that he would fall in love with an ambitious girl where he would have to choose between his passion and ego. It seems that Shorya never loved Shagun. In the second chapter, Tej suggested finding a girl for Shorya in the small town. I wonder who would be the girl. Anokhi wants to study.
