Her life has turned upside down once again, so her attitude at present is some what understandable. This is the third time her marriage plans have been upset and twice because of the same person (Anu). Devyani has never been the person who swallowed her tears and tried to be happy when in pain - more so when her life has been a series of disappointments. Anu has had the good fortune of marrying her beloved and enjoying a happy life. Dev has faced trials continuously and is bound to be bitter some time. When a person whom she has supported through the loss of a spouse and is affianced to suddenly turns retracts the marriage, she is reminded that she is always second-best, even though Anu is her dearest sister.

I appreciate your comments aparna. But why she is upset with rajat decision that he should first want to confirm whether anu is alive or not. She herself must do this because if in future they find that anu is alive than automatically their marriage will be null and void. She is not at all desperate to find anu. According to law if a person's dead body is not found he or she will not be declared dead before 7 years. And these shastri and sareen family are enjoying functions.😡

That is a serious inconsistency that only CVs can explain. I, for one, don't approve of that at all, especially when she clearly has feelings for neel that were a lot deeper than those for Rajat. With Rajat, she has always been careful about her self-respect while for Neel, she has always given her all for that relationship. What made this happen is beyond me too. I am only analysing her feelings at present, I am confused about her decisions too.

good post habiba😊 hated sterday episode everyone a lot... felt like everyone were against anu... devyani i felt she became selfish... sterday episode reminded me how she behaved with anu after her engagement breakup

I think her point is that she should have been informed first about the marriage postponement instead of being merely informed as an afterthought rather than whether Rajat should do it at all or not. She is also concerned for her sister, she is just bugged that she is not informed about Rajat's decision.

She should get the null and void marriage clause before making any comments too, but in that frame of mind, logic and clear thinking are no longer keeping dev company.

I also find it unusual that they (Sareens and Shastris) have happily accepted Anu's death and made no attempts at recovering a body - the immediate marriage is a shocker to me - but I also think Fake Rajat has done something to sway Devyani as well. We are seeing only Dev's perception here.
