dev kept on taunting her continuosly as if intentionally rubbing salt and pepper on her wounds...

dev- dekha anu bohot confidence than a tumhe apne so called pyaar pe, ur beloved rajat has just broken ur heart in a flash of a moment aur tum mujhe sikhaane chali thhi k what true love means and blah blah blah...🤢

anu recalled of how bluntly she had given dev a very much needed reality check when rajat had refused to marry dev. the devraj alliance just seemed to be the outcome of miscommunication and misunderstandings...😲

anu- wake up from your daydreams dev, rajat tumse pyaar nahi karte😡

dev- ohh pls anu, just don't be jealous, just because even u find him attractive never means k tum kuch bhi sochogi😡

anu- I know dev rajat tumse pyaar nahi karte...😭

LATER THAT NIGHT- on the terrace

rajat- anu why were u crying????😡

anu- hum nahi ro rahe...😭

rajat- look at your eyes, they are sore red!!!!😡

anu did not speak a word but he surely knew that it was the devraj fiasco, the flames of which were still seen and felt in the shastri house so the very nex morning he just poured his heart in front of dev about how he never felt or fell for her shattering her into pieces...😭

rajat- dev, pls behave mature, it was just a misunderstanding!!!😕

dev- to hell with your misunderstanding rajat sareen, agar hum nahi toh tum late night terrace par baithkar kis ladki k baare mein sochte ho, khudse baat karte ho... kis ladki k liye tumne apni diary mein who saara confession likha????😡

rajat- I really don't think that is ur business! 😡

continuously weeping dev told anu about all that rajat had written in her diary the confession, the poem, the dried rose... everything and anu wondered she felt really bad for dev but still her in some corner of her heart it might be all about her! but she knew it was the wrong time to discuss such thoughts👍🏼

she finally met rajat at the main gate when she was about to leave for college...

rajat- chalo I will drop u😊

anu- I can manage😊

rajat- main pooch nahi raha hu bata raha hu chalo...

and this 17 minute bike ride was yet another moment when she realized that she feels for, thinks about her and cares for her and so it was after 2 days that she was able to muster courage to look into his eyes and straigt away ask him a question while playing truth or dare after dinner...😉

anu- kya aap kisi ladki se pyaar karte hai??? aur shaayad abhi tak usse ye bata na paaye ho???😳

rajat who was busy attending to a text message on his phone just spoke a two letter word NO!!!!😲 and this was enough to pierce daggers through her heart, she wanted to demand an explaination but as teary eyed she looked in his chocolate brown ones he just stood up and walked away, but she was determined to get all her answers today!!! she marched towards him to hold his hand as he was about to leave for his late night after dinner walk...

anu- u owe me an explaination rajat!!!😡

rajat- excuse me???😡

anu- I know aap humse pyaar karte hai, toh seedhi tarah bata kyon nahi dete???😡

rajat- I think u r also living in ur dream ubble just like ur sister, I cant help it, tumhe jo sochna hai socho...😡

anu- humme sach bataaye rajat, pls u really don't even know a fraction of what all I have been going through, sab kuch sambhaalte sambhaalte thak chuki hu, dev and her broken heart, ur so not satisfied male ego...😡

rajat- what ego???😡

dev's sudden snap and breaking of the flower vase brought her back from her trance and she was kiving in reality after rajat's reality check, dev walked away from the room after giving anu a deadly glare but for her more than dev's temporary emotions it was important to know that what exactly had gone wrong with rajat, HER RAJAT!!!!😭

she recalled how he sat with her sacrificing his sleep late at nights so she did not get bored while studying on the terrace, how he clicked selfies with her whenever she wore a new dress, how he helped her out with her assignments, how he stood strong whenever her family needed support, how genuine his concern seemed to her...😔

anu-(to herself)- I really have no idea of what that man is upto but m sure of one thing that something is cooking in his SQUADRON LEADER brain, he is lying to me, it is a plain whte lie...🤔

thinking about him and his so so so odd behavior she kept tossing and turning in the bed, not at all hard to guess that she did not have any sleep that night...🥱

it was actually a very BAD MORNING for anu as she cried in pain because neil had banged her hand in the door, which he did purposely to note his brother's reaction and it worked as rajat immediately got her an icepack , he held her hand but she jerked it off...😲

anu- m fine rajat...😡

rajat- anu, dard unn logo se nahi chupaanaa chaahiye jo aapko jaante ho!!!😡

anu- aur rajat sach unn logo se nahi chupaanaa chaahiye jo aap se pyaar karte ho...😭

his chocolate brown eyes locked in her deep almond ones actually made the surroundings intense and more than that tensed... but he continued to treat her wound with the ice pack. she really liked to see his possessive, authoritative side o his but for now she just wanted grab his collar and pull out each and every hair out of his head to ask what on earth was the need for him to lie????

she came running downstairs as she saw him put his luggage in his car and bidding bye to everyone...

anu- humme bye nahi bolenege???😔

and rajat did not even look at her... but she got hold of his arm (I hope u all are liking this stubborn shastri!!!)😉

anu- main intezaar karungi rajat, apne saare sawaalon k jawaab ka, apne rajat ka...

he walked away lost deep in thoughts of whether he will be able to return home or his corpse will, whether his blood stained uniform will or whether only his badges wil??? he kept thinking about how he was not sure of where his life is going to end up so how could he give anu hopes... hope that he will return, hope that her tears her pain matter to him, hope that he loves her, he just could not put anu's life at stake, thought of it to be really selfish, as he drove away leaving her back in tears... 😭😭😭
