ss is setting records of bringing more and more negative characters days day by day so lets apply some logic-

minty hates all shastri sisters and nikki came to help her, aastha is there to trouble alka, kari will mess up with anu so now there will be someone to trouble dev also

Minty aunty and nikki are have already done that.

Actually the show can not run like this for very long if new characters are not brought in. I think it is essential for a long run of the show to bring in some twist and negative characters..
