why did anu say no?

So friends i m trying to figure out why did anu say no to rajat and his fairytale proposal. The reasons can be-

Dev also loves rajat which she has been saying all aloud(sounds lame)

She does not love rajat as much as he does (not possible). I thought she is madly in love with that guy

Minty aunty- this can be a solid reason as shastriji heard all the tamasha going on in sareen house and told it to his daughters. So she comes to know that minty hates her so much. Remember she said at the diwali party that she will arrange rajat's marriage with some high society delhi girl.

So guys what other reasons can it be?

I know that anuraj will be together some day and this a roller coaster ride for the actors as well as the audience

I personally think it is because she values her family, her sisters more than her love. She has always said she doesn't believe in love and won't get married. It just happened that she fell in love with Rajat. That was her heart's decision. Today, she refused Rajat because her head/brain is deciding for her. She wants to prove her solidarity for her sister. She wants to stand by her sister in her time of grief. She can't leave her sister to cry and herself celebrate the start of a new relationship. Boys will come and go, but sisters are for lifetime. I personally don't think anything is wrong with Anu's decision.

On the other hand, Rajat's anger is also justified. He puts his love for Anu as the highest priority. But for Anu, her family always comes first. He is angry that the girl he loves doesn't love him the same way.

Devyani has to be the mature person here. She has to come out smiling and convince Anu to accept Rajat. If Anu sees Devyani is not holding any grudge against Anu, she might accept Rajat.
