The marks we leave on beating hearts...
We leave traces on hearts, knowingly and sometimes unknowingly, each time through gestures, actions and words which remain alive as frozen moments in memories to be relieved during leisure.
Words wouldn't do justice if I were to try and describe how amazing this episode was. From the start with Anu drawing the rangoli and then stumbling only to fall in Rajats arms with a rangoli mark on his shirt. Though in reality she left a mark on his heart ages ago, a mark much more permanent and enduring and she adorned herself with a mark of his- the anklet.
The incident confirmed Minty's suspicions and in a way I'm glad and I have a feeling this gave a hint as to why Minty let the engagement happen. But will come to that in a bit. Well Devyani asking Anushka to remove the anklet but the anklet refuses to budge and then Rajat enters feeling happy knowing she wore it. This symbolises that Devyani will try and take what belongs to Anu in the first place thinking its hers but the thing(in this case Rajat) will refuse to budge and Devyani will then have to let go (and know the truth)
Minty knows about Anu and wants to show her that they are way above them. You know in a way Minty might be a snob but she isn't a negative character. She hates Shastri sisters but she doesn't know the reason why her husband favours them so much. When she will know it she might probably change. The tarot card reader confirms her suspicions and tells Anu that Rajat is her soul mate and they would only sort out problems when they would be facing them together"that also shows that with Anu sacrificing her love will bring a big problem- which is yet to be shown.
Finally the last scene when she tells Rajat that she is trying to figure out the feelings between them and Rajat tells her to let go, to accept him .. to accept the change... It is sad knowing Anu will accept the change only to have her heart broken albeit momentarily but broken nevertheless.
Minty will know about Rajat and Anu. She has connected the dots already. She will know about Devil too according to the spoiler. So she begins her game plan. She will tell shastri that Rajat Likes Devyani (knowing Dev likes Rajat) and the other way round. Shastri will be convinced. Her plan will be to keep Rajat in the dark till the engagement. Then Rajat would break the rishta with Devyani i.e put the ring on her finger to avoid a scene but break it up the moment the guests go home. Because Rajat wont marry Devyani when he likes Anu. When he breaks the engagement, this will ruin Devyani (revenge for Neils suicide) and Shastri will never let Anu go for someone who broke the other daughters heart (nor will Anu for that matter) what do you think???
