Continuation of Mohan Bharathy talking about Salima and Suresh - Rathi is awe struck -
calls them both "great" and tells periappa that she always had this doubt about her dad
holding back some misery - "always saw it in his eyes , but never asked him about it !!"
Mohan says that had Salima recovered, Suresh might still be alive"every day Suresh
used to go to her and tell her the day's events " - warns Rathi - "don't keep your mom in
the loop " . Rathi says that she did talk about Salima to her mom and " mom never doubts
dad. She admires and adores dad. I will not cloud her mind with all this " Hassina walks
in to Salima's room after a few good mornings here and there - only to find Arvind
standing near Salima's bed. Confrontation time - he directly accuses her of false
identity - " I know that you are Mahalakshmi ..but why this drama??? And this
woman who is in coma for the past 20 years is the obstacle for our marriage?? I am
going to tell the whole hospital that you are Maha , apram you can not visit Salima...
every one will call you a liar..." Hassina frets and asks " unakku ippO unmai theriyanum,
that is all, right?? Flash back time - Maha's mother is very sick and probably these will
be her last words. Tells Maha that that it is Salima who nurtured them " avanga mattum
salary ai namba kitte kudukkara mathiri arrange panna lai nna... we will be in the streets.
And your dad is a cad, avangalai ipdi aakkittan..we have to atone his sins..." Mahha is all ears.
Salima is in bed and Suresh comes to see her. Learns from the nurse that the family
has stopped visiting her. Calls Salima's brother Anwar and asks him about it. He is categorical - " I am not rich. I have to work my bones off for a living. My wife has decided
to ignore her. We neither have the time nor the money to nurse her." Suresh says that
Salima gave her salary to her bro's family ! Tat ...comes the reply from Anwar " oh yes,
she gave me the salary but I took care of all her needs . We are still the same poor
family but you started this hospital in a small room and now, where are you??? This
shows that who benefited by her toiling??!! And we also hear about what goes on here -
you and her - people talk , u see " Suresh gets angry and shows him the door - " don't come here, we know how to take care of Salima " Anwar is happy to hear this. Just then Maha walks in and asks permission to visit Salima - " whenever I can. My mom said that we owe Salima aunty much more !!!" Suresh is moved and tells Maha " inimel nee than paarthukkanum Salima vai.." Flashback over.
Arvind is moved by the story - Maha says that she gave herself the name Hassina -
" people in the hospital insulted me as I am Ethiraj's daughter , antha cad Oda daughter thaane iva nnu pesinaanga...athan intha name.." Arvind says that Maha's sacrifice is monumental. " I will convince my parents and we can marry " Maha says that until Salima gets up , she can not marry. " if you love me , you have to wait" Arvind has this valid Q " for how long??" This Q has no answer but Maha stands her ground. Arvind says that he needs time " but I love you and I need you " - leaves. Rathi hears (eavesdropsšš) and talks to Maha " I was mean to you without knowing the facts. Actually I should thank you - you have filled in for me. Ok, now, you go ahead and marry, I will take over this from you. Maha says that she does not want to be severed from salima - " you do your side and I will visit her everyday ..will wait for the day ...will marry only when she gets up..." Rathi holds Maha's hands - both women cry...

Sugumaran, the dismissed Store manager, complaining to Satya, the journalist, about Rathy and her throwing him out of the hospital and telling him he should not set foot on the premises. He is drunk and gets shooed by the owner of the house outside which he is sitting, so he and Surya move on. They stop outside another house and Sugumaran's raving goes on. He says he knows secrets about her and her father, which if published, will send Satya's fame soaring. Satya wants to know more, but he says Satya will goof up, just like he goofed on the kidney matter. Satya says he won't goof up, but Sugumaran clams up and doesn't say more and leaves.
Rathy is working and asks about her coffee. Right then, Perumal comes in with her coffee, and talks in his usual confused manner. She tells him to leave her coffee, he leaves something else, and she tells him to be more alert. When he leaves, another doctor comes in and drags him in and tells Rathy, either this Perumal leaves, or I do. Rathy asks him what the matter is, and he lists four times when this Perumal has created trouble.
Perumal goes and complains to Akash that he has been dismissed by Rathy because he overacted with the memory loss and the other doctor complained about him. Rathy has been listening to this as she was coming in. Perumal starts his acting again when he sees her but she tells him to stop acting. She takes Akash and Perumal to her Periappa and tells him about the two of them doing this spying. Akash says it is all for the good of the hospital, it was thanks to Perumal that they solved the kidnapping case, they found about Sugumaran's fraud, but Rathy is furious. Periappa calms her down, saying that Perumal is like a walking CC TV. She says okay, but if he goofs up again with the X rays or something like that, he will be watching TV at home.
Vicky is restless, waiting for someone. He tells his wife that he is expecting an important financier, Prem Kumar, and she should go to the puja room and ring the bell when he comes in. He is impressed with Vicky's story and has agreed to finance his film. Shyamala is not impressed, not even when Vicky says that this guy looks like a film star. Just then, the gates open and a car comes in, stops, a door opens and a young man gets out. He opens the door and another young man gets out - eye candy (drool drool!) - the financier! Vicky takes him inside, after telling him that the house is their own, and introduces him to mom and wife. Vicky is fawning all over him, and Prem Kumar is asking him about his other pieces of property - wonder why?
Rathy comes in, Vicky introduces her to the financier, who is thunderstruck (the song Adhisaya raagam is playing in the background). Prem Kumar is almost speechless and his eyes follow her as she leaves the room. Vicky seats him and proceeds to tell him the story he has in mind, and PK sits down, but he is not listening. He is watching Rathy as she moves from room to room (it helps that he is wearing dark glasses!), drinks some water, goes upstairs, then takes her phone and goes into the next room, and he is still watching her, not paying attention to Vicky. Hmmm, the man has fallen hard!

Ezhil in sms sending spree to Dr. Naren '' Good Morning my dear Idhyam specialist.' Naren suspects Rathi behind it. Goes to her room. To his dismay finds Rathi SMSing some one. Logical conclusion 2+2. Picks up her cell & scans thru it . Rathi points out his indecorous behaviour. Unperturbed Naren couldn't find what he is looking for , asks rathi whether she has purchased a new mobile phone or new sim card. Rathi negates , Naren doesn't believe , resolves to find out the truth very soon. Confused Rathi concludes nut loose for Naren. Seeing Naren leaving rathi's cabin in a jiffy , a mock smile simhasanam pottu sits on Ezhil's lips. Before he reached the end of the corridor , gets another SMS ' wouldn't you reciprocate the Good morning wish'. Again Naren runs back to rathi's cabin , again find her sending SMS. This time feels he has caught her red handed. Rathi is surprised to see him back. Naren keeps repeating 'seekrame kandu pidichuduven, vidamatten ,will not let others fool me. ' Rathi mutters ...bolt has really gone loose. Ezhil has the last laugh.
Sathya follows Hasina to her apartment, waits outside to find out her true colours...Hasina or Maha? After a while Hasina comes out sans her burka . Sathya's doubt cleared.
Dr . Naren working...another SMS from his idhayam patient... 'Idaythin Osai therindha Doctorukku en vizhigalin vaarthai aeno puriyavillai'. Naren now seriously starts contemplating on plan of action to nab the SMS heart patient. Ezhil comes in ,comments on recent behavioural changes in him. Naren shares the SMS matter & asks her to keep it to herself, not to let her boss know about it. Further says that he is quite sure that the culprit is inside the hospital & will soon solve the mystery. Ezhil leaves the room with a smug smile & a renewed determination to taunt him further.
Ezhil in her bedroom ,trying to read The Week Magazine. Flashes of her conversation with Dr. Naren interrupts her concentration. Picks up the cell for another round of SMS . Her father comes in , ezhil hurriedly hides the phone. Father turns a blind eye to the matter & after some mundane conversation leaves the room. Ezhil back to her cell . This time no SMS direct dialling , calls Naren who is still in the hospital, sweet talks with her Idhayam specialist . Srima feel like singing for Ezhil ' en Idhayam specialist Idhayathile kudi irukka naan varalama , kudi irukka naan varuvadharkum vadagai enna thara vendum'. Naren is irritated to the core, shouts who the hell are you ? Ezhil jolling 'I am a very very beautiful young girl who seeks a room in your heart.' Cuts the call leaving the irritated Naren in suspense.
Bharat Vicky comes to meet ECP [ namma ACD inga ECP ayittare]. Warmly welcomed by ECP , says contract documents are ready for signing . Asks Vicky about his marriage proposal to his sister .Vicky reveals the love matter between Rathi Naren , informal engagement over , marriage only after an year & a half. ECK heaves a sigh of relief , does mental calculation 1.5 years means 365 + 133 days multiplied by 24 hours . Waaw a lot of time , anything can happen & many things can change .Bharat Vicky is confused . ECP again repeats his earlier words ... movie making & match making are two different things & not to get confused. Vicky tummyla milk vaarthing feeling. ECP calls assistant to bring the documents who comes empty handed saying , small typographical mistake in the document... typed Mani Bharathi instead of Bharat Vicky. Vicky's face drops , ECP takes leave citing film chamber meeting. Freeze on confused face of Bharat Vicky.
