I think the major cause is the regressive directors of the channels and the disgusting writer who spoiled the story line with crap filling that led to a series of consequences starting from trp drop, episode cut, lower promotion and as a high budget show, it could not cover up its running cost if it was shifted on an early slot like kasam or a later slot. these resulted in the abrupt ending as the channel decided to start bepannah feeling that the later would bring them tons of trps(which did not happen by the way)
