I am glad you asked whether Chaaya will disappear? The Puranas do not elaborate her story - what they do say is that Surya will bring back the original Sangya.

So, "What do viewer learn from them?"

Our job is to filter nuggets of truth that enable our soul to evolve upwards and onward in its spiritual journey.

What I mean is the viewers get the wrong message. In both the epic it was shown that the kings didn't like daughters and one of them prayed to have a son so he could fight for his Kingdom and one sent his daughter away so he could have a son. But, in reality this wasn't true.
