Most of us watching this show tune in mainly for the love of the actors and the beauty of the characters they play. That being said it's hard to swallow when a big revelation about the female lead comes up. We are left to wonder if the promised love story will be a part of their lives and how. However that isn't the right questions to ask at this point.
Haya are devastated. They are facing a moment that Nimmi, Maninder a and their mothers have lives through for years. Romance, togetherness and anything else fundamental to a marriage is the farthest thing from their minds.
Harman is angry that his life is taking turns he never imagined. But he is dealing with it with more dignity than Maninder who wanted her dead. He hasn't abandoned her like most people would do when they realize the treachery. He needs time to cope.
Sowmya is devastated but she is still showing more composure than Nimmi who was focused only on survival. What she desperately needs is to understand how she is different. Saaya can give her that. Only the people who have walked that path will know the challenges she would face. But then Sowmya will have to give up her family and the world as she knows it.
Another option is go away with Nimmi and Surbhi. While this will ensure that she is safe and among the people she loves. They cannot help her. Else Nimmi would have educated her not only in worldly matters but also how she is different. And other than the traditional methods of having a family she can do anything. She will go back to being tied to her mother's dupatta.
The best person is to help her is Harman. He may not love her as a wife and plan a life together. But he can get her help, a psychologist whom she can talk to, who can counsel her and take away the childlike fear in her heart that a witch will take her away from her mother. He can find a tutor for her, who will open her mind to the world and all the beauty that is there outside the four walls of a typical trp bahu's life.
The CVs have a golden opportunity to show that the short term goal of the FL is not to make perfect parathas for dinner and produce offsprings as their long term goals. That is just one part of life. She can achieve something much outside the home too. Maybe she can be a doctor, a teacher, a business woman even a rocket scientist.
Sowmya, born with a good heart and a wise mind, can be more that Harman's wife. Success isn't defined by just having a picture perfect family. It's about having a life well lived.
