Hi

Just started watching this serial .. don't understand the concept .. If she is kinnar then should be noticing some difference when she takes bath or dresses up herself .. Why is nimmi being over dramatic about this .. Isn't kinnar means a man dressed in women .. wanting to be a women , being and liking to be a women ?????

Am i worng in thinking abt this .. What is this .. Can someone explain and clear my doubts

thanks

In India there is only word Kinner. Thats mean transgender.
But Saumya is not a transgender/Kinner.
Saumya is intersex, mean she is born as girl but has some male parts too. In kids story Nimmi never allowed Saumya to wear skirts or go to school, play outside etc..
But in India intersex also mean kinner.
Hope that explain it, otherwise many topics here where they explain the difference. 😊
