Yes, The most unfortunate character is SAUMYA...
Since the time she was born, her life was never but series of calamity kept knocking on her life...yes her mother was there being a shield for her, and that is only a LOVING mother could do that for her child...Her mother never asked God why me????...why her child was like that???but She kept on loving her child regardless her condition...
Saumya started to look for that missing love from her father, bec she saw that love for her sister in front of her, she didn't get it but she never questioned "Why her sister, but not her"...
she was happy in her little world with her loving mother but never asked her mother "Why she is Not getting any privileges,as Surbhi ???...Even though her Mother wanted that...Saumya never asked Mata Rani "Why ME"...but kept on loving all...just like "Moam ki Gudia" as Harman said.
All kind of misfortunes happened to her,from kidnapping, stone throwing by angry mob, then her marriage, she never asked "WHY ME??? but welcomed & started to love & appreciating new person in her life... desperately wanting to be wife of her Harmanji...
then the biggest blow of her life came, but she still never asked her "MataRani " WHY ME???? She is taking it as MAtaRani has made her that way...No Question.."Why Me"..when she is about to embrace her new life with joy with her love Harmanji...instead she is thinking of her betrayal & not able to perform wifely duty for her husband...& betraying his family, who had given her so much love...

But I, myself would like to ask THAT QUESTION on behalf of Saumya, ...WHY SAUMYA!!!! She has never questioned YOU GOD!!! or done any wrong in her life, WHY HER?
Even now She is taking it as if its natural that this iit is her LIFE , no question asked ...instead she is worrying about her husband & his family...
Saumya is so innocent that God forgot to add that "I,ME,MYSELF" in her saul...she still tis talking the talk of her mother/sister of leaving after 19 days...she hasn't still grasped what is happening around her, she still is doing what others are telling her to do, she still is being treated as "Mom ki Gudia"...but yet not a question on her lips "Why Me?'...
will Harman forget His addressing Saumya as "Goolabo"????
yes her mother was wrong in society eyes for her betrayal to a loving husband, but NOT wrong as a loving MOTHER who can go to any length to save her daughter from saya's society, vanishing in oblivion,
