Actually this Comment is for last two Parts: Cool!
Its thoughtful that harman wants to start their relationship after her knowing completely about her family & past... Harman does not want to treat her like the other women in his life. He loves her too much for that sort of behaviour. But there's a doubt, now did he tell soumya completely how she came into his life& how she became his fake wife.. He tried to but it did not go well with her. Also he believes when they are married there won't be need for that.Loved the way Harman who is smiling victoriously seeing at the page 3 pic of theirs... Oh yeah he loved his victory over SamairaTheir romantic gestures & emotional talks were excellent.. Well they certainly complement each other.I pity poor girl raavi for her state...its understandable how she has fallen prey to that guy abhinav...I think children from broken homes are often victims to sexual exploitation at a very young ageLoved how harman is now slowly mellowing for soumya & their lounge romance was super cute...So first puja of harman after many years...harman is being himself with her, the changes people around him are noticing is what the real Harman has always been like. He just never got the chance to be that person.Monty & kaka r so happy abt the changes in home..we can see it in their amusement...And harak is also delighted... Raavi now getting a motherly or friendly figure in soumya...thats gud...poor girl..Even harman is experiencing love...Lovely...fantastic update... Thank you so much for your compliments!I know harman will forgive his sister defo.. & they will bond emotionally well even though in all this talking to each other there wud be a breaking down of two once & they shud completely let go of their past... Well yes the showdown will happen, there are other revelations too.Fabulously u r writing this story Soul... When ever i come here... Im checking ur updates only...Aw that is so sweet of you 😊

Part 24
Harman flicked through the morning paper for the millionth time going through the article... it was just perfect, he had thrown it carelessly on the coffee table beside the sofas after having been finally done with it. He could almost picture Samaira writhing in a jealous remorse his arrow had most certainly hit bull's eye, he was damn sure of it. He had grinned then one of his lopsided ones that adorned his features when he closed in for the kill. He could not however put a finger on his own take for his feelings towards Soumya. He had just made a call to his private detective it had been sleek but he had doubts and had an inkling his suspicions would be confirmed soon and that was what he dreaded. He had avoided gathering information on Soumya out of fear, fear that the dream he had been dreaming would be shattered most savagely. His eyes scoured the green vegetation dotted with yellows and pinks outside the open windows, she was right he did own a magnificent garden, there, he was thinking of her again.
It was as if she ruled him subconsciously, held a magnetic charm that pulled him towards her, her tears were unbearable to him and her gentle hum of a voice was all he yearned to hear forever. Why did the heart mistake repetitively he pondered running a hand over the patterned fabric of the curtain near the window, him trusting her with his heart... would it prove to be yet another folly on his part. She was so genuinely in love with him... he had made himself believe that her eyes they were the windows to her soul and he had read many in his short life time. Her's were untainted by malice or prejudice yet there was the constant cognizance that it was all too good... too good to be true. Fate was never this kind destiny a slave master who prided itself on its chattel being driven with a whiplash capable of skinning them alive. And then the truth in all its complexities Kamla he could never put that fateful night out of his mind, he had tried everything well almost if that was to be said.
Drugs, liquor the empty solace of women in his bed but nothing had worked it had always been the same. He still had nightmares of Kamla unbuttoning him, clawing him, feeding off him and he would sit up with a cold sweat drenching his body. How he hated the woman and the one that had followed her... Samaira, she was no good either she was as lustful as Kamla the only difference was he was not fifteen and was capable of giving it all back to her ten folds. But the pathetic creature thrived on his vengeance because it made him go insane and that was a source of pleasure to her. He had placed his hands on his eyes tired of it all, of the thoughts, the memories they haunted him and he was unable to put an end to it.
He would have gone on with the unperturbed observation of the lawns had he not heard a gentle almost inaudible knock on the door. "Come in" he had permitted entrance and was surprised to see Raavi push the door open holding a tray laden with coconuts... he wondered if she had indeed turned into a nut herself knowing full well he bore no liking to the fruit. He had resumed his position on the sofa raising his hand to gesticulate her to follow he noticed she fidgeted involuntarily. "Bh.. bhabhi ss.. sent this" she had elaborated on her arrival she could feel his penetrating gaze slicing through he did not need words to express the fact that he condemned her very existence. "And you forgot to tell her I don't like it" he had remarked in a seemingly plain tone.
"I..I.. I.." she stuttered the bowls rattling in the tray as her hands shivered he was alarmed to see her in such a despicable state of mind yet refrained from saying it aloud. "Raavi" he had murmured standing up taking the tray from her hands and placing it on the coffee table. That had been the precise moment when Raavi had rushed forward and had embraced him with all her might. He looked down at the soft tresses on her head astonished at her behavior only when he strained his hears did he hear the muffled sobs that managed to escape her sealed lips. "Raavi" he had called out again but she remained stoned eyes closed heart pounding expecting him to push her away any instant. He had felt his arms surround her in a protective enclosure "Raavi... what happened?" his voice was soft this time like the running of a hidden stream. "Bhaiyya... I'm sorry" she had whispered pressed against his chest afraid that if she dared to look up he might just let go.
He had closed his eyes in a long awaited content breathing in the flowery fragrance of his baby sister he had dared to love against the better judgement of his mind. He had kissed the top of her head in a cautious move resting his chin on it letting the pain between them diffuse and vanish he could've stood there like that forever but the fact that she awaited acceptance of her apology brought him back to the present. Guiding her to the sofa he made her sit she still held on to him too frightened to hold his gaze. "Raavi" he had addressed her again and this time he had felt a movement against his chest the certitude that he had not pushed her away had granted her faith and she had willed herself to meet his eyes. "Sorry for what?" he was still uncertain "For everything bhaiyya... for me, Roohi, Abhinav, Samaira and... mom" she had whispered unhappily. She felt his arms slackening around her and had hid her face in her palms the shame and the guilt were overpowering and she felt her confidence disperse within a split second.
"Leave Roohi out of it, she poor child was never a part of this rather elaborate game plan" he had remarked firmly making her weep inconsolably. Finding it beyond her tolerance to see him remain unmoved she had taken to the carpeted floor touching his feet in repentance "If you can bhaiyya forgive me... I never knew of your tormenting past until today and for that I hold myself responsible. I know I have sinned but Abhinav was the only one who had been willing enough to love me and I believed him." Harman had been rather taken aback to see her clasp his feet and had pulled her up in his sinewy arms the next instant. "That's enough" he had admonished her act harshly making her sit beside him on the sofa. "But I have made you suffer bhaiyya, you wouldn't have had to marry Samaira if it weren't for me" she had peered at his grim face with teary eyes. "I would have married Medusa for you Raavi... Samaira was just another witch" he had whispered "You don't hate me?" she had inquired sanguinely blinking back her tears. "I never could punish you, you were my sister and that was what mattered at the end of the day... your happiness. It's just too bad I was never able to give it to you completely" he had narrated to her grief stricken and she had leant forward to kiss his cheek.
"It was just not meant to be, one cannot build one's own paradise on another's grave" she had twisted her fingers miserably and he had taken her hands in his own stopping her from punishing herself. "I'm so sorrry for Roohi" he had mumbled and she had felt her tears flow again her baby, her daughter snatched away from her by her heartless father. She had clutched his kurta as he held her close venting her agony through tears "I.. I.. mm.. mm.. miss her... mm.. my ... baby" she hiccupped and Harman had felt his own eyes cloud with moisture. He had a fair idea of her torment many a nights when suffering from sleeplessness he had crossed her room to hear her wailing and on further inspection would find her clutching her daughter's photograph to her bosom crying in repentance. "Raavi.. shush... don't cry... I promise I'll bring her back in this house even if it means paying that b*****d all I have". "No bhaiyya no" Raavi had shaken her head vehemently "No don't let him succeed all he ever wanted was to have what you have built with tireless effort. He just needed to hurt us and he has done that, don't grovel to him for me. All this is not mine it is bhabhi's now and she deserves her happiness" she had held his hands in her own placing them against her cheeks shedding tears of remorse. "All this is yours and Roohi's too Raavi you are as much family as she... and don't worry I'll deal with Abhinav myself" he had kissed her forehead with love wiping her tears smiling at her.
"Now we better try what your bhabhi has sent for us she certainly has the craziest ideas" he had chuckled making Raavi smile. "She says it's nice with the sugar" Raavi had informed him sprinkling a generous helping for him on the snowy flesh of the fruit. He had bitten in and had smiled it was indeed a bizarre but rather wonderful combination "You know this is actually very good" he had laughed making Raavi bite in his share. "Yes bhaiyya this is different but really tasty" she had giggled assenting to his declaration and between them they had polished the plate clean.
