May be its not a transgender in the traditional sense we take it. May be she have some clinical conditions like hermaphroditism and all... they are congenital conditions which affect the person physically but many people with those conditions can live either as girl or.boy. kinner or transgender which we see I mean the stereotypes are developed psychologically even the hijras too... they are not true hermaphrodite. May be character in this show is a true hermaphrodite. In that condition she can live as perfect female or pefect male , but she is infertile. May be sowmyas character comes that way
