More than anyone, i really feel sorry for the 'shaadi mubarak' company which has become just a name sake thing in the entire saas bahu sazish pati patni aur woh drama. There was a time when the company was started by two individuals and one among them who always wanted to work, work & work and finally taste the success with all her hardwork. But now, everybody knows what is up with the company.

These two go to office and i dont know what they keep doing especially KT. I have never seen him doing any work till now. They dont have any contracts nor have they successfully organised a wedding till now. Somebody rightly said that KT is a spoilt brat in some thread. Yes! That definitely he is. Bigdi hui maa ki bigda hua aulaad!

And the dialogue which he said to preeti made me laugh. - "chaliye preeti ji! Subah se bohot kaam kaam hogya, ghar chalte hai" i am like what work did u do??? Infact what work do u have?? Ridiculous🤣

Coming to the finance, KT is using his father's money to run his company. As we have all seen, there are employees in the company and they have to be paid. For what? No idea.. But they have to be paid since they are seen holding files and involved in serious discussions🤭. So again he has to take money from his father's pocket because the company hasnt earned a single penny yet. What about the maintanance of the building? Some more money... Huh!

KT's father might be the richest but the 40+ year old KT doesnt know the value of money even now. Ok. Let him be. That is how he is brought up. He was, he is and he will continue to be like that. Because Sm company is not that important for him as much as it 'USED' to be for his partner back then. She is also on the same track now. Well, very good. They are couple now and she has to follow his footsteps. She is back to pavilion.

That passion, hardwork & the dream she had back then in the beginning of the show, are all dissolved in keeping another man happy. Kudos! Makers! What a progression. There was a time when preeti was so cautious about spending money especially KT's. But now.. Things are different... There was a time wen preeti kept KT where he is supposed to be kept and thought 100 times even before shaking hands with him. But now she becomes numb when he forcefully pulls her and kisses her. Wow!

The simplicity, the innocence, the seriousness, the passion, dignity, the maturity, inhibition... Ah! That was what made her preeti jindal back then!

The makers will no longer think about the company as the characters of the main leads are completely flipped and made so so so so typical. They have so many other better work to do than thinking about their business and atma samman. That word is a joke now😅. Very good. Carry on until the ultimate boss lets you to.

I think once their personal lives sort out they'll show about their professional life too simultaneously. I mean both the tracks have their own importance and if they mix up the two, neither of it'll stand out. We need to wait and watch as to how this progresses. And somewhere the pressure of low trps must have pushed them to progress to their love story first.

Also coming to atmasamman..Preeti has already established the company with KT. They even organised one successful project of Nandini's wedding, but ended up marrying each other. Also how she establishes herself as a good wife and daughter-in-law at Tibrewal's house will be instrumental in gaining self confidence and self respect as far as her character growth is concerned

KT's character is showing a lot of flaws atm cos of his personal life mess. Until they don't sort that out, he won't exhibit the maturity to handle a professional business or understand the value of money. That's my opinion.

I think we need to trust the writers a bit cos ultimately its their vision and their baby😊

I didnt knew that people think about proffessional life more when their personal life totally messes up. A problem strikes in your life and at the same time you are wondering how to deal with client instead how to solve the problem is quite a challenge. The show could be a fiction but i think i am not a fictional character so can i clearly say that as much as i had experienced in my life, when problems arrive in your family or personal life you feel like diving into the sea and get rid of everything. If KT had that ability to deal with the problems as well as business contract at the same time then may be here people would have called him a superhuman or an unrealistic character isnt it and now when he is stressed out and not focussed on his work then SM is a typical show ? Wow ! 👏

I so agree. If one is so disturbed in one's personal life, it'll reflect on the professional as well.

And they can't keep showing KeerTi just organising weddings all the time. It'll become too monotonous.

How can you say the company didnot earn anything? Nandini marriage was organised by shaadi mubhakh, it happened or not they need to pay signed amount.. in the same way if you forgot they successfully organized cocktail party and do you think any company will organize for free.. it was successful in its own terms and they did charge for it. I wonot say they are earning in crores but they are doing for now in no profit no gain way which is very much same for any new company..

KT is not poor, he is super star and has his own money. Till date it was never showed that KT took money from his father it means everything is his own money. He is spoiled I agree and he need to grow alot as he is pampered child but he is not wasting his father' money, that statement is wrong.

And what work they are doing - your question made me laugh 😆.. shaadi company means they wonot have any work in office? Nandini marriage bills, which only happened two days back.. they need to sort of the bills, they have alot of paper work to do for any event.. just standing in event and organizing is not enough for a company and it takes alot of paper work and it is a creative work, so they need to research and be upto date for their cilents...

SM is just balancing both life's of leads - personal and professional... It is just a show of half an hour so they cannot show every development in just half an hour..

For us it is one week but for SM it is just two days after marriage... Preethi didnot even know about kusum/her daughter property damage incident. because it just happened few hours back as per SM calendar.

I would suggest watch a show like show donot expect movie speed in a show... Then only you can enjoy it otherwise shows are not meant for you...

Thanks a lot for this thread.. i was so eagerly waiting for a successful wedding event to be conducted by them ,but no...it seems shaadi mubaarak was started to conduct KT and preetis marriage.. 😆they are wasting so much money by using such a big building..

@ bold i miss that preeti very bad. such good track ended with rajashree. no doubt, she was the soul of the story... now preeti will become that satyavaan savitiri..in rest of the life, she will be going after fulfilling KT's happiness and need..🤢

I wish she turns KT into a matured and responsible person.KT should himself let go off preeti from his life for her betterment in future.

Bepannah was far better..though it was about infidelity, the hero moved away from female lead to make her successful in her business..he returned after her success only..

Characterisation has changed, concept has changed. SM may have taken a backfoot, but hopefully they might explore it more once this Nandini mess is sorted. One small correction though, KT may be using his own money that he has earned as a film star through films and endorsements all these years. That is his hard-earned money.

Preeti and KT's personal lives are very important because their past bad experiences were part of the reason they started the company. While career is important, so is marriage, whatever the circumstances are. They both need to heal on the personal side. Otherwise, no matter how professional they try to be, problems on the home front will distract them and affect their performance at work.

Also, Preeti's lack of self-esteem in the past stemmed from being ill-treated by the men in her life. She let them do what they wanted to and stayed silent when she was younger. Now, she needs to re-live her marriage the way she deserves it and should be in control of her own life. This isn't something she can change overnight. Yes, she's trying to become more open to new ideas and navigating things herself. Kusum isn't there to guide her at her in-laws' so she will have to figure out how to deal with things. Also, with things already unbalanced, she won't want to take on her mother-in-law and create more disruption at home. Plus, a wife cannot be at loggerheads with her husband's mother, especially when her relationship with him isn't on stable ground.

Sure, we know she needs to take a stand for herself, and she will. But before taking action, she needs a bit of time to understand the people she lives with and their circumstances. It's a learning process for her. Already I think the pace of the story changed suddenly when they changed the actress and the character seemed to grow a bit too suddenly but it's still a long race and a lot is yet to happen. Also, Nandini is a smooth-talking vamp; it's not easy to defeat her. Preeti's character is one of quiet strength not fireball, so she will find a way to show people their place when the time comes. She won't always succeed or get things 100% correct - she's human and error-prone. All this just means we'll see her grow.

One thing I want to add here is that a person's success is not just about their career achievements. No matter how awesome things are at work, if things back home are hell then you won't have mental peace and your professional success will not feel complete. This applies to both men and women. Before Preeti entered KT's life, he was happy at home but aimless professionally. As soon as they started the company he seemed to have a purpose in life. Now that Nandini is back, he's struggling on the home front and won't be so effective at work.

What I like about this show is that they don't shy away from showing how men can be vulnerable and completely blindsided and self-destruct when betrayed by their wives. Toxic masculinity often makes people think that men should just get up and move on as if nothing happened to them. 17 months or 17 years - there's not fixed duration for recovering from traumatic experiences. It depends from one person to another.

What Preeti and KT both have in common is that previously, their lives revolved around their spouses, so when the spouses were out of the picture there was a void they couldn't fill. This is why it's important to have your own sense of identity and purpose in a relationship. This is why it's a learning curve for both of them - they need to see other facets of life. They need to have other things to fulfill them beside domestic affairs so that their lives are well-rounded.

KT associates love with marriage - he thinks he loves Preeti (or tries to convince her and himself that he does), because he married her or vice versa. He doesn't have the experience of growing together as friends in a relationship before falling in love but he'll learn all about this with her. I suspect that when he really falls for Preeti he will think that what he felt for Nandini was infatuation and not 'true love'. Preeti, on the other hand, is overflowing with gratitude for KT because he always stood by her, and thinks of this as a rescue mission to save KT from his inner demons. She's so used to taking care of others that neither does she stop to think that she deserves to have a husband who focuses on her needs nor does she demand anything from him. I hope she will learn to exert her rights over him as a wife once the time comes and she gains more confidence in the future of their relationship.

I am loving that the men of the house are giving her so much support, respect, and genuine affection. It's great that the new phase in her life started with her seeing honorable men like KT's father, uncle, and cousin - total contrast to her late husband, Tarun, and that obnoxious brother-in-law of hers in the village.

Your comment deserves a separate post tbh. So very well analysed and summarised👍🏼

And all serials have loopholes. I feel we should enjoy a show as a show and not take it so very seriously. SM is way better than many others and has been showing quite a few positive things as well, like how you mentioned about the men in KT's house giving the respect that Preeti deserves.
