Preeti doesn't deserve to be a rebound, or does she?

I hated how the first thing KT did after getting married was show up at Nandini's to prove his point. But worse is Preeti's reaction.

Preeti is all about atma-samman but all of it goes for a toss when it comes to people she loves. She forgets all about it when it comes to Tarun and Rati, they get welcomed at every important point of her life. Buasa is a lenient one but I am sure Preeti wouldn't have objected if she had been tyrannical. And now, apparently she loves KT, so her atma-samman will fly out of the window in keeping him happy.

I may still have understood what KT did. He hasn't had closure and would have literally married anyone in that spot. I wish he had married Kusum, she is a widow too and would have set Neelima/Kushala (I don't know what is her correct name) and Nandini straight, all in one go!!

I had high hopes from this show thinking it will be about the spirit of entrepreneurship in women but its all about two women fighting for a man and justifying the sanctity of marriage, however ridiculous the circumstances might be. Indian TV is still far away from change, barring a few exceptions.

I am done with this show now guys, hoping to meet you in some other forum. Unless this marriage sequence is one elaborate dream sequence, the show is ruined for me now.

Preeti doesn't love KT yet, neither does KT and Preeti knows that. She knows the state of their marriage and she went into this marriage knowing fully well what to expect out of it. She knows that there is immense respect in their relationship and she knows KT will always respect her, no matter what. You should watch the episode where Preeti tells Kusum the reason behind her decision to marry him.

I agree that the way this wedding was done was really unnecessary and too dramatized. This is ITV, so they did this to garner some TRP... however at least this is not one of those marriages where the FL is being fooled into getting married, thinking that the ML loves her etc. KT and Preeti both are fully aware of what expectation to keep from this marriage.

Imo, this marriage first most will be based on friendship, companionship and care for each other. Love and romance will follow in the future.

KT would have never married Kusum lol 😆... he doesn't think of her in that way at all. At least with Preeti, he cares for her, shares that specific friendship and bond. Also, they are partners!!

I was about to speak about preeti's so called atma samman for which she agreed for the partnership with Kt. Now she has given up on her own self respect just to keep another man happy. Look at the precap.. The way he pulled the necklace out of her neck. And why is preeti even wearing it even after nandini's bhashan?? Where did her aatma samman disappear?

Men are all same. They behave one way before they get married and start behaving as if they own the other person once the other person becomes their life partner.

What a regression in KT's character.. Crap..

When I say love, I equate the love with what Preeti feels for Buasa and Tarun too. The feeling of sacrifice and willingness to go out of the way to do stuff. It's all good till she starts demeaning herself in the process.

PS not shipping KT and Kusum anyway 😆😆

Just used it as an exorbitant example to suggest what KT felt about marrying anyone who is not-Nandini.

Agreed.

Preeti is back to making sacrifices again and linking her happiness to other people's happiness. That was a perfect moment for her to be a little selfish but nope. She feels unrealistic to me. There is no one who is completely 100% selfless.

She could have had some thoughts at least that KT is being babyish and he wasn't sticking to his decision. He's her husband now. He has responsibilities too. This marriage isn't just her headache but Preeti being Preeti will take it on her shoulders and try to free KT from the guilt like she did with her first husband. 😔

I would have preferred for Preeti to refuse getting married to KT like that. I liked her refusing to get married to KT in the village, that was the right decision and I thought she was going to make progress but there's a U turn here.

Preeti isn't getting her self respect until the last episode of this show. It seems that way to me.

What a butchering of a show. I thought it was about preeti going after her independence and self respect. They killed KTs character overnight and brought preeti back to her old self of taking abuse. Only highlight of the show was Kusum but don’t see much scope in her character.

I am dine watching this show for now. Can’t stand it for a minute.
