Tell me in how many Sons & their Fathers jointly hunt for a Kamau girl bride.
Well u see we all look for normal decent partner and family.
Fair enough.

But how much % u think fall in line 1 category these days, that they strictly seek a good earning bahu ( more than only highly educated girl)

I know its different in metros and towns and zillaas and remote rural
But still...?

Rounding of your question in % is difficult...but yes eligible boys and parents look for financially independent girls. Dowry can be a bonus. I also think the percentage of love marriages is increasing in metros so dowry doesn't become a priority there...Even in second tier metros like Jaipur etc girls parents are encouraging them to study, get independent and then get married...and boys and their parents look for working girls. What I see different is working girls and their parents also have their say in a marriage alliance...for them boys eligibility in terms of financial independence is must.

Yes...cherry top ...% is different difficult as
we hv lot of urban rural & diversity.

What i feel bad ONLY is when women hv to lve house by 7-8 and return 8 pm etc

& hell cook their own lunch boxes and chapatis for all people in house.
Esp lower middle class.

Hi TM, the percent is difficult to estimate but this i am sure of: thousand of abuse cases against daughter-in-laws not bringing enough money to the PI's house goes unreported everyday in rural areas..even in sub/urban areas, these are covered and most of the times, justice system sucks inc 99% of authorities who does not even show interest when it comes to these cases. Often times, it's just classified as domestic problem.. This is prevalent among the less fortunate members of the society..
