Payal is shown as the new Public Works Department (PWD) Officer. The society praises Payal and tell their children to grow up and become like Payal. Payal's parents come home and are upset to see their bahu dancing. Rajat, Payal's brother comes out and asks what's going on.
Payal's mom asks Rajat to control his wife. Neelu, Payal's sister interferes and in turn gets scolded for wearing shorts and playing volleyball. Neelu teases her mom and says sari wasnt ready. Payal comes in to rescue her bhabhi and says that bhabhi was practicing for work. Mom asks Payal not support her bhabhi. Payal's dad controls the situation and he asks Payal to get snacks as his friend has come. The guests praises Payal and then taunt Rajat as he isn''t doing his insurance work properly.
Payal gets her salary and give sit to everyone in the house, even her dad as he spends all the money on the family and not himself. At lunch, mom asks Payal why she gave bahu money. Payal notices Rajat eating angrily and says that she is planning to buy insurance from Rajat for bhabhi and Neelu. Mom agrees for bhabhi's, but not Neelu's as she will get married and leave. Dad talks to Rajat about his work, when Rajat taunts his dad that he lives off of his daughter's money and leaves asking his wife to get the food into his room.
Dad is upset and Payal comforts him. Dad thinks that he didnt do good upbringing. Payal asks him why he is thinking like that when both his daughters are doing well. Dad asks about Rajat. Payal sys everyone has ups and downs in life. Neelu walks in and says we have to wake up early as it's bhabhi's birthday tomorrow.
The entire family wishes bahu/bhabhi happy birthday. Dad asks bhabhi what she wants when mom buts in and says no need to spend money. Neelu suggests going to a fancy place to eat. Mom says she will make Chinese at home, Neelu says she doesnt want to eat colored noodles. Mom gives in.
Mama comes in with gifts from the lab for everyone and mom taunts dad saying that your lab boy is able to give us gifts and you arent able to. Dad says he steals them from the lab. Mama asks Dad not to reveal his secrets. He says everyone is saying that both of you are enjoying Payal's salary instead of getting her married. Mom taunts Dad. Dad says he cant' marry Payal to any guy that he sees.
Payal walks into the house and leaves with her files. Mom asks Mama to find a match for Payal. Payal goes to the river bank for some work and she sees Rajat gambling with his friends. Payal is shocked to see her brother gambling.
Precap: Police arrests Rajat and Payal rushes to save him from the police.
