Episode NO 238 Wednesday 15/7/09

Well, the historical meeting between Surya and Vivek happens
in the office......Punitha and Surya are brought in to the office..
Surya and Vivek think that they are Agninakshathiram Karthik and
Prabhu...... morachings each other..... Vivek's dad asks if they know
each other...Vivek narrates their first meeting... Surya apologizes..
first Vivek egirufies...and finally shakes hand and become friends..
well not fully - Vivek still has a look which says "will see u one
hand later" but Surya looks smiling.... well, the "boy seeing ceremony"
is over...all are happy...

Santha's niece is going in the car... the driver adiyaal wants to know
why she chose to study in Madras....well our friend Mahesh comes
in his cycle and dashes against the car... by mistake.... the adiyaal
gets heated up..slaps Mahesh and creates a scene - probably wants
to show the girl that he respects her to the hilt... well, she is not
pleased.... apologizes to Mahesh..shouts at driver and tells him that
she can not tolerate such behviour...

Punitha's house - Punitha has that neutral expression - sathiyama
this woman is a riddle - no expressions, not many words.... looks
like Suriya's eldest sister.... intha amma thaan serial producer aa??
- talk is about Ashok's visit. Valar categorically says that this wedding
should be stopped - "this man is the reason for all the troubles in
Vivek's household... he always does this.... but why should we get
involved?? stop this akka.." Punitha finally thiru vaai malargiraar -
"he went to the wrong place to ask about us...athai is still angry..
must have bad mouthed..." Valar is adamant about calling the wedding
off..Kothai amma placates... Valar expresses her fear about her past -
"athu therinja innum enna kozhappam varumO?'

Vivek's dad comes home - the sisters are eagerly waiting - dad happily
imparts the info of Surya /Vivek's first meeting... all are happy...well,
Ashok makes his entry to throw ice cold water... talks about his visit to
Surya's mom..etc.,etc., Vivek's dad vetoes all his allegations...says that no
woman would resort to such tricks -" ok, what if Surya did not marry Punitha?
her whole life is gone !!! she definitely did not do that, Surya's mom has said
some thing as she is angry with her son and DIL !! moreover, it is Ratnavel
who initiated this alliance. I know him well..he wont do any mistakes..."
Now Ashok says that he went and confronted Valar -" you know what she
said? neenga thaan ponnu kettinga...this marriage wont happen, get lost
nnu sollittaa" The family is shocked...

Episode No 243 Wednesday 22/7/09

Surya is happy - he has got a job - tells Punitha that he
was worried about the expenses for Valar's wedding -
"now we do not have to bother !!! what happened at the
astrologer's place?" Kothai ammal and Punitha look at
each other and finally Punitha says that the astrologer
gave a good report -"romba porutham ,,future will be
great!!! Vivek's parents are very happy.." Surya goes in
and Kothai amma wants to know as to why Punitha lied.
Punitha says that Surya is happy now as he has got a job -
"why pour ice cold water on his happiness??"

Magali ani madam gets the accounts - election expenses -
comes and meets the election workers - sends them home
saying that the next day they have to be present at the booth.
Santha comes and she lays out her plans -"road kku pakkam
irukkira vazhai thoppu..athu than first venum, apram..banglow.
land ellam... But what ever suruttal i do, I will give u half of
it.." Santha does not share this enthusiasm - talks about Eashu
counting kambis "her property is all gone now... she is inside..
unless she comes out, we can not lay our hands.." Magalir ani
prooves that she is a born politician - spells out her plan to
Santha - nalla kathile Otharaanga... Shantha is stunned at her
intelligence -"plan is fine, work out aagumaa??" Magalir ani
is confident.

Somu comes to some one and talks about selling their house.
The man says that it is not in Chennai and so may not evoke
much interest. Somu says that the house is worth looking at.
And then says "oru chinna vishayam , whoever buys the house
should not demolish it, must keep it the same way" ( ithu chinna
vishayamaa?? u are the seller - condition laam poda mudiyaathu
ppa) The man shares Roja's sentiments and says that he will try to
find a buyer who fits this bill. After Somu leaves, 2 thugs enter the
office and ask about Somu's visit. The man says that Somu wants to
sell his house. The thugs call some one -"anne..." muted talk.

Karuna's house - all are sad. Karuna calls Uma and apologizes -
"kaiyale aagathavan amma naan,,,could not pay the amount.."
Uma consoles dad and says that she is ready to walk out on Ashok -
"he and his mom talk rubbish always !! I am happy here - prefer
to be a vazha vetti.." Storms out. Vivek says that he will talk
to Ashok and set right things. Karuna warns Vivek to be careful -
"also Punitha must have told varal about the astrologer visit, so
be careful, ok??"

Seetha and Uma pathis - inside the abacus school - finished kambi
counting for the day and resting. Woken up by a jail warden - "vistior
for u, come.." well well ..Kothai amma paying a visit to sonny boys.
Kothai says that Eashu refused to see her. Both Pathis also shout at
her - " no maanam , rosham for u ??staying with Punithaa??" Kothai
amma chides them for supporting Eashu... The Pathis are smart -
"ok,, can u get us out?? we will come out and work for a living.."
Kothai amma is overjoyed that her sons have reformed -promises to
pawn her head to get them out - Uma pathi points out that her
head does not have that much value..and shows her a list - " we
will come out and u know what?? Immediately will do away with
Punitha and family..Santhalingam.... Balu, Somu, his wife..." Kothai
amma cant fathom this mania for killing.. younger bro asks annan
to include Kothai's name to the list...
