Women are very smart

😜😎😂

The doctor, after an examination, sighed and said, 'I've got some bad news. You have cancer, and you'd best put your affairs in order.' The woman was shocked, but managed to compose herself and walk into the waiting room where her daughter had been waiting. "Well, daughter, we women celebrate when things are good, and we celebrate when things don't go so well. In this case, things aren't well. I have cancer. So, let's head to the club and have a martini."

After 3 or 4 martinis, the two were feeling a little less somber. There were some laughs and more martinis. They were eventually approached by some of the woman's old friends, who were curious as to what the two were celebrating. The woman told her friends they were drinking to her impending end, 'I've been diagnosed with AIDS...' The friends were aghast, gave the woman their condolences and beat a hasty retreat.

After the friends left, the woman's daughter leaned over and whispered, 'Momma, I thought you said you were dying of cancer, and you just told your friends you were dying of AIDS! Why did you do that??'

'Because I don't want any of those bi.ches sleeping with your father after I'm gone.'

And THAT, my friends, is what is called,

'Putting Your Affairs In Order.'

😎😂😜

, When you are bored just think about a few things that don't make sense ...like ;

🤔

1. If poison expires, is it more poisonous or is it no longer poisonous?

🤔

2. Which letter is silent in the word "Scent," the S or the C?

🤔

3. Do twins ever realise that one of them is unplanned?

🤔

4. Why is the letter W, in English, called double U? Shouldn't it be called double V?

🤔

5. Maybe oxygen is slowly killing you and It just takes 75-100 years to fully work.

🤔

6. Every time you clean something, you just make something else dirty.

🤔

7. The word "swims" upside-down is still "swims"

🤔

8. 100 years ago everyone owned a horse and only the rich had cars. Today everyone has cars and only the rich own horses.

🤔

9. If you replace "W" with "T" in "What, Where and When", you get the answer to each of them.

🤔

Four great confusions still unresolved 😄😂

1. At a movie theatre, which arm rest is yours?

2. If people evolve from monkeys, why are monkeys still around?

3. Why is there a 'D' in fridge,

but not in refrigerator?

4. Who knew what time it was when the first clock was made?

We can never find the answers, can we?

So just enjoy the pun and fun of the English language!!

and the Pun and Fun of life likewise!

Just sharing.

I am sharing this painfully amusing email that I received this morning!.

A certain gentleman recently delivered a speech at a University Alumni Association on the topic of "Dilemma After Middle-Age".

The audience, consisting of about 700 people, couldn't help but burst into laughter throughout the speech.

Here is the full text :

Dear Friends and Loved ones!.

There is a song that sings ...

"Tomorrow Will Be Better" to give people confidence and encouragement. In real life, however, we can't be certain if tomorrow will truly be better.

What we can be sure of is that tomorrow, we will be older.

As the years pass, we come to understand the harshness of time.

At a certain age, we have to admit the power of gravity. Our organs are still there, but they seem to be drooping.

As the saying goes,

"Everything is drooping, only blood pressure is high."

Our bodies undergo significant changes after reaching Middle Age.

The once guitar-shaped figure now resembles a pear.

We fall asleep when sitting and struggle to sleep when lying down.

We can't remember what we want to remember and can't forget what we want to forget.

And let's not forget the "white hair that can never be combed out, growing again with the spring breeze" on our heads.

Our memory also gradually declines. We find ourselves walking from one room to another, only to forget why we came in the first place. We repeat ourselves, forgetting what we just said.

There was even an old man who once laughed halfway and forgot why he was laughing.

While young couples grow old together, what should middle-aged couples do? The young individuals who were once full of vigor and vitality have now become fragile old men in the blink of an eye.

Some people even mock the elderly, claiming that they are experiencing "knowledge degeneration, organ ageing, and rigid thinking, waiting for cremation."

But it is up to us to cultivate our minds. As someone said:

"Age does not matter as long as the matter does not age."

We may grow old, but our hearts should remain youthful.

Wrinkles may appear on our faces, but they should not reflect the state of our hearts.

CONSIDER this:

Some people don't have the privilege to grow old; they pass away at a young age.

We should therefore adjust our attitude towards life. In the past, we traded our health for wealth, but now we must trade our wealth for health.

Life is said to consist of three stages:

(1) Young people strive for a good education,

(2) Success in middle age relies on experience, and

(3) As we grow older, we must pay attention to our medical history.

In any case, I wish all my dear friends good health, happiness, a heart as mischievous as a child, and a smile on their faces.

Lastly, let's remember the four most fashionable truths of 2024:

① Don't show off your money;

it doesn't belong to you until you use it.

② Don't show off your work;

if you stumble, countless others will do better than you.

③ Don't show off your house;

once you're gone, it becomes someone else's nest.

④ Don't show off your car;

when you're no longer around, the car keys will be in someone else's hands.

The only thing worth showing off is... Your Health....!

When others are gone, you can still bask in the sun, sip tea, and enjoy a healthy life.

Please take good care of yourselves because replacement parts are hard to come by and extremely expensive!

They're not in stock yet...

This speech is filled with truth and humor. It brings tears to our eyes and laughter to our hearts.

Stay Healthy and Blessed, dear friends ...❤️

Avan Aval Adhu 689

“You talk when you cease to be at peace with your thoughts;

And when you can no longer dwell in the solitude of your heart

you live in your lips, and sound is a diversion and a pastime.

And in much of your talking, thinking is half murdered.”

– Khalil Gibran

Madhu had informed Ravi about everything that had transpired in Paris over several phone calls. She had wanted to fly down to Madurai and personally tell him everything but matters concerning her Company made her stay away and had postponed her trip to Madurai for the weekend.

So Saturday morning found Ravi in the airport eagerly waiting for Madhu arrival and she arrived in quiet and in style. Ravi felt his heart beat quicken until it began to thud against his ribs as if it wanted to break free of his body and join her heart in her body.

Walking out of the arrival gate, she waved to him and both ran towards each other as if they were doing so for the first time. Just as they reached each other, they slowed and then walked into each other's arms and into each others soul.

She looked at his face that clearly revealed the strain of his already overburdened heart and asked how he was doing.

' Better now that you are here with me ' he answered and asked how her flight had been.

Madhu smiled, ' Master sir, Sometimes being rich has its advantages like flying in one's own private jet.'

' Ma'am, I wouldn't know too much about that side of life for I am just a poor headmaster living a simple life in a small town.'

' Ravi, you don't know how lucky you are for I would trade in my life for yours in a jiffy ' Madhu told him and waited for him to say something, but in vain. Smiling, she wrapped her arms around his and together they walked towards the car parking.

Getting into the passengers seat, Madhu deliberately leaned to the drivers side and stared at the odometer that stood at a paltry 212 kms and looked at Ravi who smiled and said that she should not be surprised.

' Where am I going to go in a car? Everything I need is in Kumarapalayam ' and seeing her expression change, quickly kissed her and said, ' but for the better and bigger part of my soul that constantly leaves me for Mumbai'.

' Mister, You could have taken Amma and driven up to Whispering rocks. I am sure Partha and Daksha would have been happy to have you both spend time with them.'

' Not possible, Madhu. Her knees and hips are troubling her a lot. I doubt if she can sit still even in this luxurious sedan '.

' Master sir, this is a budget model sedan ' she noted and Ravi nodding his head, ' I know, Madhu but is serves the purpose very well indeed. All it does is travel to the airport and back and there is enough luggage space in the boot for your things. What more does a person require in a car?'

Madhurima rolling her eyes to the heavens, declared, ' Boss, I wonder what the world economy would be like if every human being started to think like you.'

Turning to her, Ravi said, ' Honestly, I think the world would become a better place, ma'am. Methinks that in this world of excess, less is better and better late than never'.

They drove into the compound and Madhu getting out quickly walked towards Rasaathi ammal, bent and touched her feet in respect. Then both women hugged each other and Rasaathi unable to contain herself asked her, ' Is she really pregnant?'

Madhu's eyes were full of tears as she answered, ' Yes, mother. Not one but two. She is pregnant with twins'.

Her head spinning in joy hearing Madhus words, she exclaimed to both of them and to all of Kumarapalayam, ' Good, then there is no problem at all. She can keep one child for herself and give you the other child.'

' Amma, calm down and stop wishing for stuff which is beyond our control'.

' Ravi, you are the father. Which means you have a right to the children? '

A shadow fell over his eyes and Raasathi seeing it, quickly apologised to Madhu for her tactless remark.

' Amma, its okay. You are Ravi's mother first and foremost and that is hos it should be. If I was you, I would worry about my child first... for everything else comes after that.'

After searching Madhu's eyes for something, Rasaathi Ammal enquired in a faint voice, ' Does that mean, Gayatri is your first priority and that Ravi and the twins come later and after your step-daughter.'

' Yes. I guess that is the answer that I have right now, mother ' and turning to Ravi, ' What else can we do but hope for the best?'

Throwing his arms around both of them, Ravi hugged them saying, ' Yes. Sometimes we are left with nothing but hope and prayer. But that is better than having nothing.'

The Gold of the setting sun entered into their house and lit everything with its evening colors and then slowly permeated into their bodies filling them with light and the power of sight.
