Thupakki

Okay guys and gals let us alight at the Tamil counter of SS Talkies. Let us begin with an appropriate entertainer from this spicy industry. Yes you guessed it right!! Its the one and only Thupakki starring the superstar Vijay, sensational Kajal Aggarwal and noted actors Sathyan and Vidyut Jamwal and directed by none other than the magician of movies- A.R.Murugadoss. So here we see a brave and valiant officer who also happens to be secret agent in the Indian army, namely Captain Jagdish D. He comes home to Mumbai to spend his holidays and like most parents his folks too urge him to get married or atleast select a girl before leaving for his job.This leads to him getting engaged to Nisha. What happens next is an intriguing plot as Jagdish happens to nab a terrorist after planting a bomb, he gets to know about series of unexploded bombs planted at several places. How he manages to save people from bombs and nabs the remaining terrorists forms the basic crux of this super entertainer.

Vishwaroopam

Umm okay guys what does it need to make a dhasoo entertaining movie????Brilliant characterisation, tightly griping twists, anticipating climax , wonderfully dramatic setting or a superb story altogether??Well Vishwaroopam has it all! Starring legendary Kamal Hassan,beautiful Pooja Kumar,ace actor Rahul Bose,and maverick performerShekhar Kapur in lead roles!!Inspired from Hollywood project True Lies, this one redefines the concept of film.

Vishwanath, is a Kathak teacher and lives with his wife Nirupama a nuclear oncologist, in New York. Nirupama confides that it is a marriage of convenience that provided her a safe haven for pursuing her Ph.D in the U.S.A. She is put off by Vishwanaths effeminate traits and is attracted to her boss, Deepak .In another twist, Nirupama hires a private investigator to trail Vishwanath doubting whether her husband has secrets of his own which will help her file a better case of divorce.

Here white is not so white but black is darker!! Breathtaking revelations and introduction of new characters as well as speedy action moves and racy tracks will keep you glued to your seat so much that you may forget to bite your nails!Vishwanath is revealed to be Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri, an Indian Muslim RAW agent who married Nirupama with a special motive.

What happens next is an immensely tense and anticipating drama which witnesses the characters changing shades and story taking turns to build up an extremely awe inspiring phenomenon!!!I

Mankatha

And after dishing such hot spicy films for ye folks we have yet another delicious naazrana for you!! Jahapana taufa kubul karo!! So we introduce you to the next stop of the superfast SS Talkies-Mankatha. Released in 2011, Mankatha, starring Ajith Kumar, Arjun, V. Jayaprakash, Trisha Krishnan, Premji, Mahanth, Vaibhav Reddy, Anjali andAshwin, is a racy and adrenaline-rushing story which begins with Maharashtra police officer Vinayak Mahadevan who is suspended for helping a smuggler to escape from police encounter. He starts leading life in his own way. He falls for Sanjana , daughter of an influential local goon Arumuga Chettiyar in Mumbai. This master caper takes a different turn when a tough cop Prithvi takes charge to end betting scandal in IPL cricket in Mumbai. Arumuga uses his links with dons in Mumbai tries to route through a cash of over Rs 500 crore to be used in betting. Sumanth , a goon working for Arumuga Chettiyarplans to take away the booty with the help of Ganesh , Mahanth ,and Prem . Vinayak joins the race. He promises to help them and divide the booty between them. Trouble starts after they take away the cash. Both Arumugha and police are now on their heels. Meanwhile, Mahanth and Prem escape with the cash. It is all upto Vinayak now. The battle shifts between him and Prithvi and we witness the clash of titans.

Krantiveera Sangollli Rayanna

As we soak in the entertainment of Kolly Molly and Tolly, we move forward for an interesting ride back to our struggle period, where the male protagonist here in Kannad blockbuster, Sangollli Rayanna, plays prominent freedom fighter who for the freedom of our country fought till his death. Beautiful direction by Naganna, this movie sets it's background in Karnataka, while Darshan Thoogudeep plays army chief of the Kingdom of Kittur, that time ruled by the queen of princly state, Kittur Rani Chennamma (portrayed by Jayapradha). Rani Chennamma for thirty three years fought with Britishers before the first war of Independence 1857. This narrative movie, narrated by Sudeep, grabbed several awards, some of which for best direction and best movies. Best part of this movies lies in the part that producer Anand Appugol and team focuses to teach younger generation about the importance of freedom. We find that Rayaana went through lots of dominance and Rani Chennamma is made to believe about the false death of Rayanna, which follows her death by consuming poison. Later in part when Rayanna fights back he is hanged by the Britishers with several other leaders, leaving the audience in melancholy and thoughtful mood.

Sanju weds Geetha

As we come finish action packed substance, lets us advance towards some light heart fiction work. Entertaining and engaging, Sanju weds Geetha, by name itself clears about its genre. Romantic, yes you got it right. Computer Science student, Sanju, (acted by Srinagar Kitty) after reaching his native, falls in love with Geetha,(portrayed by gorgeous Ramya). Sure of her values and thoughts, Geetha after lots of persuasion by Sanju, too falls in love with him which by matter of fact brings smile of audiences's faces, but what follows next is entry of dark past of Geetha which makes Sanju like her even but evil cousin plays a negative role and misbehaves with Geetha, shattering her heart. Here, Sanju proves his love and is ready to marry her the very next day and both of them elope where again the cousin tortures Geetha and then is killed by our South Romeo. Unlike every love story which has a happy ending, this movie bring to viewers a different aspect of love where the lover is sentenced for life for killing the person who did wrong to a woman, and asks his beloved to marry other person. Not agreeing to this, Geetha visits their previous place of meet and slips down which follows her memory loss and ultimately to her and her lover's death. A tragic love story didn't fail to receive the love of the audience and people made their exit out of theater with teary eyes.

Carving for more romance? Something that will strike your emotional chord but with some commercial elements? Here we bring the production of R. Chandru, Charminar. Romantic drama with Prem Kumar and Meghana Gaonkar's brilliant performance is the main attraction of the movie. Throwing substantial light on rural and emotional bonding of family this film deals with the life of the man in comparison with the Hyderabad monument, Charminar. Prefect movie for interviewing you past, beautiful school days and fun filled college life, this movie beautifully captures the emotions and feeling of youth as he struggles to voice out his feelings to his girlfriend. The film focuses on the role of teachers in moulding students as better citizens, and the director deserves a pat on the back for conveying this message sensitively. For now you must be wondering by the name charminar, but the reason for this the need of four pillars in life of a general man. Parents, friends, teachers and lover to be named. For Mohan, who was a dullard in school days, Radhe is a real inspiration. She encouraged him to study and have an aim in his life. However, Radhe was nowhere to be seen when Mohan made it big in life.He hopes to meet Radhe at the friends meet, but is disappointed when she does not make it. He goes to her house in the village to find her handicapped because of an accident. The accident also took her mother's life away. Mohan accepts her and decides to start a new life with her. With huge emotional appeal this movie attracts families and youngsters.
