great yaar...atlast one person asked this question...i same wondering abt same long days...may be they can say ,this forum don't need more DT members..but basically its wrong..some members doing soo much activities here...but they d't get any appreciation here...appreciation or compliments in words is do nothing..give it the form of promotion..ie's best appreciation of their hardwork..i can't undrstand why IF hesistating to promot new people...give a chance to them too..otherwse how can they prove themself..everyone needs a opportunity... I liked u ask qtn publically...great...

I disagree with it promoting as DT is not only a encouragemet for a member. As now IF introduced many levels like Additz, Sizzlers stunners, acheiverz they also a promotion right if we post more we will get the promotion as any of that also called as a promotion thaana akka not only DT is a promotion akka.

We are having more oppurtunity here for promotion only thing is we have to use them for getting promoting. DT is not only promotion in my point or opinion. More activity posting members are always being appreciates in SS everytime. DT is responsible more resposnible.

DT comes with responsibilities. It requires you to monitor and moderate. IF is really strict about its rules and they have to be careful when making decisions about the DT members. As these DT members will be representing the admins and dealing with regular members directly.

@Rechus - Even I thought too that doing a lot of activities is what gets members promoted to DT. But I learned that it requires one to have a sense of when policing is needed, and be a justice server.

I think this is the main confusion people have regarding how members get promoted to DT 🤔

promotion is best way of encouragement..I d't think IF level encouraging members..u just play in game forum..u can reach any level...no needs take efforts...anyway its my openion...

Why would you need more DT members when there is not much activity in this forum ? 🤔 Let us concentrate on bringing traffic to the forum first , make it welcome for all visitors to participate in discussions, and then if the current moderator is overwhelmed with extra work , then may be we can ask for additional DT what say 🤔. Right now do we really need one moderator /VB for each member of the forum 😳 It would seem silly no

If Mods gives promotion to members who deserve it, it surly helps to this forum more active...just check this forum how many members commenting impartially...many of them commenting the thread of their favourate ones...just introduce something new to active this forum..i thnk time to change this attitude of IF, no trafic no promotion...

Hey guys,

Well Good Question. Let me enlighten you guys on a few things 😃!

Here is an excerpt that I had posted on Suggestion and Comments Section!

As far as joining the Development Team, there are a few criteria that are to be met. As mentioned previously it goes beyond doing regular updates and conducting activities, such MOTW/ and Games. A certain degree of maturity and responsibility are to be expressed in regular discussion in the forum without preaching others. Their interaction with fellow members is also taken note of. Based on all this, we sure do have some ideal candidates, and we hope they too get the deserving promotion.

Now ever since the forum was initiated, finding members to do activities was the most difficult task! The DT has to literally go beg people at the initial state 😉 and thankfully we came across some members who were willing to help us with different activities, with our help!

But like I said earlier, its not all about posting MOTW, Games, Banner Contest. Its not merely about sharing articles or birthday threads! It's not about spamming away on the chat threads! It's beyond that! The promoting parties are looking for people who are mature, and responsible. And these are seen mostly on discussion, where people actively give their inputs in a constructive manner!

However, this element is lacking on our forum! In the past, we've brought up DOTW, but not many take part in it! Sctivity in this sense should blossom on our forum, where many members actively provide their opinion, etc. So our current goal is to make the forum more active by bringing in more members!

Till our forum has more traffic and more contribution, even my request for DT may get thwarted, as has been the case in the past 😉!

So folks, since you are also interested in getting more DTs for the section as I'm, now I can rely on you guys to help out and engage more 😃.

On a side note, we are appreciating our contributors for our forum simply because they have been a great help. We and the contributors are aware that this act does not demean anyone! It's an encouragement. If the only way to appreciate is to reward with a promotion, then our forum at the time being would only be full of Development members and no active members to contribute!

Anyway, its good to hear your inputs guys about something that I myself was thinking and looking out for!

Well Rechus, this is something that will never change! Promotion or no promotion, one can't force another to take part in something they do not like right! This has been an ongoing problem!

Also, might I correct you that its not the MODs who promote people! They are to suggest and the rest are done by the higher authorities!

And sure, we are working on something new to bring to the forum, with the help of our volunteer team 😃!
