If Mods gives promotion to members who deserve it, it surly helps to this forum more active...just check this forum how many members commenting impartially...many of them commenting the thread of their favourate ones...just introduce something new to active this forum..i thnk time to change this attitude of IF, no trafic no promotion...

@ SylvaniaLUX I d't think,every member who makes a post must be a DT member..bcz i'm not that much idiot...then about how many posts here other than article...this TM create some interesting topics..how many members commenting it..think abt it..a working team in SS forum..if they start to comment this type of topics, sure forum slowly active n others surly follows them...anyway i'm sorry to say my openion...i'm person a respect others sincerity n hardwork...after join this forum i saw here some dedicating members..i just thought if they get promotion, sure its best reward for them...ie's all..

Reiterating on what Priya had said, yes, the members VOLUNTEERED to help. No one was forced to do it.

I myself am part of the forum hence know the forum's dynamic fairly well!

There is no doubt our forum consists of a number of active members who contribute by posting the latest news, articles, trailers, reviews, and games. At times we even have some potential discussion questions posted. And all though it may not be transparent, we very well know that Radha encourages a number of them to take part in and even helps out in making certain topics!

However, there is clearly a misconception about how the promotions happen here. Posting activities and fun elements do not qualify one for promotions. Members should contribute in term of good healthy discussions. They should encourage fellow members to comment more and not simply thank the Topic Maker for posting an article. They need to help keep the discussion more lively and not end it with a mere T4s or an off-topic discussion! The more discussions the better the chances, but the members have to be willing to break the ice and come out to discuss! At the same time no one can force them! Moreover, while discussing, we need to make sure that there is no bias and if criticism is given it , must be given in a constructive manner and not bashing an actor. And if some does go in the lines of bashing, the others shouldn't give counter attack in the same tone, and instead should make them understand it's wrong to bash.

So making appreciation thread on the favorite actors , make a number of game posts, making some creation galleries and signatures, and posting articles are not the entire criteria to qualify for promotions in forums like Sensational South. It's not a show forum and with many different interests here, we may tend to reach heated arguments, debates about actors acting ability, gossips (which we don't encourage but it's hard to avoid when media also write about it and it tend to cross the limits) etc.

We also look into the members maturity. Sometimes, its easy to handle a forum when there is no opposition but once people start to divide into different fan groups etc.., that's when we can see whether a candidate is able to handle the situation thrown at to them. Many members are not able to handle crisis and fights. We need members who are mature to handle criticism and also are not biased. As you had mentioned about how member's only post in their articles about favorites! Well it's a good sign that we are getting a variety of fans in!

Lastly, the members, whom you are referring to, have recently been appreciated and are in close association with Radha and I. They know how the system works! We are working as a team to come up with ideas. It's a general understanding they have with Radha and I. So when they themselves are willing to help without expecting anything in return, it speaks highly of them right!

So Friends, since you are also concerned for the well-being of the forum, we request everyone to help the DT and the volunteer team by taking part in various activities that are coming😛.
