Hectic work takes a toll on Shruti

The actor was admitted to the hospital after she collapsed in Chennai but is now back to work

Actor Shruti Haasan was hospitalised recently as hectic work schedule took a toll on her. The actor collapsed on a promotional visit to Chennai. Since she was unconscious, people around immediately rushed her off to the hospital, where the doctors kept her under observation for some time.
Shruti has lately been busy shooting outdoors for producer Kumar Taurani's film in Bhor on the outskirts of Pune. The actor was shooting round-the-clock to complete the schedule. "The long hours of shooting outdoors finally got to the actor. Shruti took a day off to head to Chennai for some work. There she suddenly collapsed and she was rushed to the hospital. The doctors told her that it happened because she suffers from severe exhaustion and dehydration. So, they kept her in observation for a few days, until she was feeling absolutely perfect."
But Shruti had no time to rest apart from the time spent in the hospital. Being the professional that she is, she flew back immediately to Pune after being discharged to shoot for a special song for the film directed by Prabhudheva. In spite of the high energy required for the songs, she went ahead with it. The source further adds, "Shruti is still in Bhor completing the last few days of this schedule. The producers and Prabhu are very happy with her dedication and are all praises for the actor."
