Gautham Menon on his Upcoming Projects

Gautham Menon who is currently busy shooting for Neethane En Ponvasanthan updated on his forthcoming projects involved as a director / producer. The ace director is hopeful and upbeat about his projects. The director however seems to have all his spin-offs targeted at Tamil and Telugu audience. He has consciously avoided making his projects in Hindi for some while following the failure of his recent flick 'EK Deewana Tha'.

Neethane En Ponvasantham

NEP is a bilingual simultaneously made in Taml and Telugu (Yeto Veli Poindi Manasu). Jiiva and Samantha play the lead in Tamil while Nani and Samantha play the lead in Telugu. The interesting factor is Ilayaraja has joined hands with Gautham for the first time to score the music.

The film will release in August or September says the director who seems to be particular about the release date so as to avoid a clash with Surya's 'Maatraan'. The most awaited music album of NEP will be out by the first week of July. He is hopeful that the music will be liked by all.

Tamilselvanum Thaniyaar Anjalum

Tamilselvanum Thaniyaar Anjalum is the next production venture of Photon Kathas to be made in Tamil and Telugu. Jai and Richa to play the lead in Tamil, while Nitin of 'Ishq' fame and Richa will play the lead in Telugu. The film has been tentatively titled 'Courier Boy Kalyan' in Telugu. Santhanam and VTV Ganesh take care of the humour department.

The film is directed by Prem Sai who was a former associate to Prabhu Deva. The technical crew consists of Om Prakash (cinematographer), Rajeevan (Art) and music by Karthik. Gautham has praised Karthik for the tunes composed by him so far which have turned out to be good. The film will go on floors from June 14 in Tamil and Telugu.

Thangameengal

Thangameenal is a film directed by Ram of 'Kattradhu Tamizh' fame where he plays the lead himself. Yuvan scores the music and the audio will be out in a couple of weeks. The film will also release soon. About the film Gautham tweets, "Thanga Meengal is poetic and a classic. Director ram is a brilliant director."

Yohan Adhyayam Ondru

Last but not the least is Gautham Menon and Vijay's much anticipated 'Yohan'. Gautham who seems to be exicted about kickstarting his project has said, "Yohan will start filming in July...can't wait myself. It's action all the way".

All of these movies look promising, but I'm really excited for NEP and it's Telugu version Yeto Veli Poindi Manasu as well as Yohan
