Shruti Haasan to do Richa's role

With Osthe headed for a December 8th release, Dabangg fever has gripped the nation again. The Telugu version of this film known as Gabbar Singh and starring Pawan Kalyan is also set to roll. Shruti Haasan will be playing the spunky village belle in Gabbar Singh and she is very enthusiastic about her role. Richa has done this role in Tamil.

The team is currently in Pollachi for the shoot. Shruti was battling a flu but she said she is feeling better as her work is the best tonic and the environment on the set is simply superb. Sonu Sood's role will be played by Abhimanyu Singh who rose to fame for his powerful performance in Ram Gopal Varma's Rakht Charitra. Devi Sri Prasad is doing the score.
