When we look at the old films most of the heroines were doing performance oriented role but now almost 97% of the heroines are doing glamour roles 😕 Sad thing is some heroines are getting more salary for just one item song 😲
Agreed as well, for example. Take a look at Mankatha. Its a boy's story and the importance of Anjali, Trisha and Andrea was very less and only for songs. Its true that nowdays, we come across very few stories that gives actress the scope of acting. One of the movie i appreciated in recent times was Anushka in Deiva Thirumagal. She was clad in traditional, no item or sexy song dance and she played the role of Lawyer Anu very well. Our actress need more of this kind of roles😉
