Okie..I finally saw Mankatha..and loved it😎 I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. It was like watching hollywood action movie:)

Thalas entry on that cop jeep and the background score...Wow...that was awesome and one of his BEST entry after Kreedoms entry I have never seen such a classy Ajith movie tho Billa was stylish until Mankatha now. Kudos to him for taking up negative role.

Action King once again deliver what he is good at - action😎 Its nice to see two actions hero sharing the screen space along with new comers like Vaibhav, Ashwin, Prem G, Mahat etc without any ego.

Everyone gave out their best...tho actress like Andrea and Anjali was wasted. I knew Trisha got limited scenes from the beginning which was understandable. Ajith-Trisha chemistry was cute😳 and finally their combination clicks off after 2 average (flop) movies (tho I personally like Ji and Kreedom). She was looking cute in her salwars. Lakshmi Rai as the evil vamp was surprising and she got more scope compared to the other female leads and her intro scene with Ajith at the beginning...ROLF😆

Prem G and Ajiths scenes was was funny cause it was natural comedy and limited. They didn't take any effort to make any separate comedy track to the main story and mainly thats why it clicked off well with the duo👍🏼

About the story, well its all about the MONEY - the cat and the mouse game between action king and Thalas characters were exciting. Don't expect any logic or moral but in return get an roller coaster entertainment with bunch of greedy people who is after money. NONE is the HERO, there is NO RULES, you can never predict who may double cross whom where only the one who knows how to play the GAME survives😎. I had no sympathy for any of the characters😆

About the songs, like i wrote on one of the previous thread related to Mankatha trailer, I was disappointed with the songs when i first had heard them until I slowly started to get into them. Yuvan has done a terrific job with the background music and I love the songs, esp "nanbane" , "nee naan", "balle lakka" and the extended version of Mankatha and theme music⭐️

Picturization of "vaada bin ladaa" was awesome with the changing furnitures and decorations, Ajiths apartment and the multiple Ajith was treat to watch during that sequence😳 Ajith was impressive with his stylish dance moments on the title song, mankatha (its a known fact Ajith is one of the few non dancers in our industry) and " open the bottle" will definitely top the song charters.

My favorite scene was Ajiths entry scene, the chess board one where he plots his mastergame - impressive scene👏, bike scene ( thala did this stunt without no dupe ) and the twisted climax where Venkat ties up all of the loose ends😎.

Few minus points - movie can be lengthy for some of the audience, esp the first half, and the females leads was wasted. I heard some of the fans was upset with the swearing words used but doesn't we all hear such words in holly movies and in tamil serials??🤔 Well, for me, swear word was muted out so I couldn't hear it but i could read their lips😆

PS! Whenever Ajith has taken up negative roles, his movies has clicked off like Vaali, Attagasam, Vaalararu (tho the villain one turns nice at the end) , Billa and now Mankatha😛.

My verdict - Strictly NO rules - just enjoy the GAME😎

Ravi, I absolutely adore "Kadhal Kottai".
But I thought Devyani (who couldn't understand or speak Tamil during that time) was far more covincing in the climax scene when she confronts Ajith with tears in her eyes and points to herself and says "Kamali!"
I guess I expected Ajith to do or say something than just stand there and stare at her in shock...but then, looking back...maybe this is how a real life situation would be...still it was a very emotional scene...and even I was overjoyed to see the two unknown lovers join together at the end of the movie.
"Kadhal Kottai" will always be one of my favourite movies...
Coming back to "Mankatha"...my favourite dialogues were those shared between "thala" and "action king"...
They don't share much screen space...but they complimented each other very well...
Oh and the background music just makes it even better...

Watched it second time & enjoyed it thoroughly !!!

The scene before Intermission is just too good ..

Ajith was AWESOME ...😍

People saying that the first half is slow - i dont agree .The first half is just perfect & is just the one needed for the twists that comes in the second one
