The makers of 'Mankatha' would have not imagined that their film would become the most searched Tamil film on Google for 2011. The movie which has already successfully crossed the 100th day mark just won itself another medal. It has occupied the 7th place in the search engine Google for the year 2011. The first place for the most searched film in India has been bagged by the Salman Khan starrer 'Bodyguard' closely followed by SRK's 'Ra One', according to reports.
The only other south Indian movie to occupy this list is 'Dookudu.' The Telugu blockbuster too ran houseful for many days post its release.
'Mankatha' directed by Venkat Prabhu had Ajith Kumar helming the project as the casual cop Vinayak Mahadev. The star cast includes a huge list with Arjun, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Premji, Vaibhav, Jayaprakash and Anjali essaying small but very important roles in the flick. The film has been most talked about for Thala's daredevil stunts on his bike as well as on a four-wheel drive.
