The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Mankatha have gone to Radhika Sarath Kumar's Radaan Media Works! Radhika had procured the theatrical rights from Sun Pictures and will distribute the film in Tamil Nadu.

It is said that the Ajith starrer Mankatha may be screened in about 300 theatres in Tamil Nadu alone. Confirming that her Radaan is involved in Mankatha, Radhika clarified that the satellite rights of the film still rests with Sun Pictures.

With Radaan also involved with Mankatha, the hype surrounding the film has just got bigger!

It is not a Worldwide Release for Mankatha

Ajith's 50^th film Mankatha was touted to be a simultaneous worldwide release but technically it may not be possible. Though the film will hit the silver screens in the national and international markets on August 31^st, it will not be released in Kerala on the same day.

Trade sources say that non-availability of theatres in Kerala due to Ramzan and other festivals is the main reason. The buzz is that Mankatha will be released in Kerala on September 9^th, 2011.

Mankatha is directed by Venkat Prabhu and is being marketed aggressively by Sun Pictures. The film is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies.

So Mankatha is shifting from one place to another daily..😆

But now wat is the point here is Sun Pictures are going to stop its trailers from now on in Sun TV or Radaan Mediaworks will do tat also inspite of theatrical release works.. Im so confused??😕

No worries Sun pictures won't stop Mankatha promo. Radaan Media Works get only the distribution rights in Tamil Nadu only still Sun pictures is distributing the film in other states and they have also occupied the satellite rights of Mankatha. As of now Mankatha as many distributor Dhayanidhi Azhagiri producer of Mankatha, Sun Pictures distributor and get the satellite rights of Mankatha, Raadan Media work distributor of theatrical rights of Mankatha in Tamil Nadu only and Ayngaran International worldwide distributor of Mankatha.
