I read recently that the sweet Trisha is quite the drinker and even fought with the police at one of the bars recently. I would have never thought she was this way.

Cracks emerged in the relationship between actor Darshan and his wife Vijayalakshmi when the couple started residing in BTM Layout. The 'Challenging Star' was introduced to a couple in the area. After some days, the husband left for work in an overseas nation, leaving his wife in BTM Layout. Vijayalakshmi objected when Darshan developed intimacy with the woman. This created a difference between Darshan and Vijayalakshmi. Darshan took the pregnant Vijayalakshmi to Switzerland when the actor was filming the movie Porki, a remake of the Telugu hit Pokiri. Darshan became abusive in nature during the couple's stay in Switzerland. On questioned about the behaviour, Darshan threatened to kill Vijayalakshmi. The actor's wife delivered a son on October 31, 2008. Darshan registered some of his properties in the name of his wife. Later, the family shifted to Rajarajeshwari Nagar. Vijayalakshmi then noticed that Darshan was getting close to actor Nikitha. She started questioning the proximity between them and the harassment increased. In her five-page complaint, Vijayalakshmi stated that once she ran from the house after Darshan started beating her. She sought help from actor Shivaraj Kumar and his wife who managed to pacify the situation. Vijayalakshmi then returned to the house. Once, when Vijayalakshmi had gone to her sister's house in Jalahalli, Darshan followed her with a loaded pistol. Darshan's brother Tugudeepa Dinakar alerted Vijayalakshmi. She was beaten then. On another occasion, Vijayalakshmi was locked in a room from 4 pm to 2 am and assaulted. Vijayalakshmi also stated that Darshan forced her to transfer the ownership of some properties that were registered in her name earlier. She was at the house of her friend Vidya in Bapujinagar on Thursday, when Darshan called her around 2.30 pm. Darshan picked up his son Vineesh from a baby sitting facility and reached Vidya's house around 4.30 pm. After leaving Vineesh at Bapujinagar, Darshan took Vijayalakshmi to an unknown location in the car. He started forcing Vijayalakshmi to transfer the ownership of some properties in her name. He removed Vijayalakshmi's slipper and used it to beat her. He burnt Vijayalakshmi's body with lit cigarette butts and bit her left ear.
