Rajbeer and Preeto reach home. Both are silent and dejected. Rajbeer gives Preeto her shopping bags and she starts walking towards home. Rajbeer thinks as to why she cant stand and talk to him for some time. Meanwhile Preeto thinks as to why Rajbeer cant stop her and tell what he wanted to say earlier. Rajbeer does stop her but to give her bag which was left in car. He then sees Preeto going home and leaves.
The Dhillons are happy that Preeto managed to buy so much within their budget. But Beeji points out that the clothes are simple. So Preeto tells that she had checked out some expensive clothes in market earlier when she had gone with Jassi. The clothes were actually simple but due to the embroidery or designs on them they look beautiful are sold for high prices. She suggests that they themselves do the embroidery on those clothes. That way they can save money and have good looking clothes at same time. All agree with her idea.
The ladies sit to work on the clothes at night. Meeta switches on the radio. Meanwhile, Rajbeer is restless at his place that he wasn't able to confess his love to Preeto due to the policeman. He decides to call her and confess then itself. Preeto receives Rajbeer's call and as beeji and the others are around she calls him as Jassi ji. Initially Rajbeer gets confused but then realizes and plays along. Preeto tells that she'll talk to him later as now they are listening to radio and she cant hear what he's saying. Rajbeer asks her to tune into 98.8 FM as there's something for her.
Preeto goes and changes the station. The RJ announces a dedication from a 'lambuji' as his lover calls him. Then there's also a msg from Rajbeer saying that he couldn't confess his feelings to her earlier due to the interruption by the police. So he would like to express his feelings through a song. He dedicates the song "Tumse milke, aisa laga tumse milke " to Preeto. Both Preeto and Rajbeer have flashbacks of their special moments as they listen to the song. Beeji catches Preeto smiling and asks her the reason. Preeto escapes from there saying that she remembered some important work. Meeta thinks that Preeto might have behaved rudely to Rajbeer when they had gone out earlier. Ishu says she would ask Preeto about it the next day.
Next morning, Preeto is off to see the banquet halls for the wedding venue. Just then the doorbell rings. She opens the door to find Rajbeer there. He asks whether she liked his song dedication to her. She lies that she didn't listen to any song. Rajbeer is pissed off and goes to Beeji. He tells her that he had come to meet her for an important reason. He wanted her to choose a bride for him. Preeto is surprised hearing this and blushes. Beeji asks what kind of girl does he want. Rajbeer tells "bas samajh lijiye ki aap hi ki parchaai ho". Preeto goes pink listening to this. Rajbeer is seeing her and telling all this. He says that the girl should be smart, beautiful, well educated, good at heart. Preeto is happy. But then Rajbeer adds that the girl should be tall, thin, must wear western clothes, sport a short hair etc etc. Preeto is mighty angry hearing this. She asks beeji's permission to leave and then adds purposely that she's going to meet Kunal at the banquet hall as he knows the people there.
Preeto is outside the hall and Rajbeer is watching her from the bushes. Preeto catches him and asks what was he doing there. He says he had come to see the hall. When she asks whether he was following her, he denies. Preeto asks him to stop joking and come to the point as its really irritating her. Rajbeer gets angry and asks what about the way she teases him using Kunal's name again and again. In anger he leaves from there in his car.
Preeto is talking to the hall-incharge when she keeps getting calls from Rajbeer. She rejects the call twice and then finally picks up. Its not Rajbeer at the other end but some one else who informs her that Rajbeer has met with an accident and is admitted to Guru Nanak hospital. Preeto is shocked to hear this.
