I mean the way AK speaks really doesn't give the old age feeling ! The speed and also his words feel modernized ...

And maybe they can improve upon the language too because when you talks about shows like Jodha Akbar and Maharana Pratap (Those two i watch) you can see the difference, as you stated.

Or even if not language they can show them speaking in a slow and dignified manner like the olden kings are portrayed as.

Ya even i watch J/A n can't help but praise Rajat for his dignified way of speaking👏...i have even skipped Savitri to wtch d 1hr epis of J/A this week...that show still has a real feeling inspite of their desperately calling it a fiction show at the start. That show had so many rebellions n many took it as an insult..i am thinking what would have happened if J/A would have been made by the production house of Savitri...They would have been killed by now!

I actually love the costumes of Damyanti! I m so glad she doesn't wear those ghanga choli type dresses, it kind off set her apart from the others. But they need to give her some nice hairstyles sometimes the open hair looks messy. Moreover this is not a usual period drama but more like a fantasy series so the costumes can't resemble a show like Jodha Akbar.

hi moni...i know its a fantasy show but still they are showing an ancient era in India..M sure its india n as far as i remember our ancestors 400 years ago didn't wore clothes like that n even if they did, they had a pallu in their head...thats why i have this problem...Either if its purely fantasy they should make the Men's clothes western as well along with the commoners...

Exactly my point Krishna...400 years back wearing such a dress doesn't come to logic

Agree with u. But i like this. I may sound weird but i feel it is refreshing to see this kind of princess look other than those heavy lehenga's n jewels. I completely love this simple yet royal look. And we need to remember that it is a fantacy fiction. So they don't need to follow he old age customs in that particular. They can have as much as creative liberties.

i know that its fantasy bt still my mind can't stop thinking about the oldern dress forms as contrast to d ones in the show specially when the commoners have the normal dressing n even king n queen

They are portraying a era 1000 years ago from now so I guess the society was more liberal than. I mean Damyanti's parents wanted her to be the heir and they were not hoping/praying for a male heir. If we go that ways the pallu thing won't work. Personally I like the fact that Damyanti is not the usual rajkumari with Pallu and all, she is like a fiery warrior princess😳

Totally agreed the look of most of the lead characters is very refreshing! And being a royal fantasy show they need to be different from the other period dramas.
