@Strawbella

What actions are being taken, that I can see. I spent whole of last night talking to that Viewbie you asked me to talk to, and digging each thread from old pages of this forum to present it to her as proof. What happened? Nothing but sympathetic PMs and lame reassurances with dialogues like ''I have nothing in my hands''!

I could get WL?🤣 Yeah! The trolls and spammers, the viewbies who themselves flout I-F rules - none of them ever got any WL But only I could get WL for posting to I-F team to take action or openly writing on their lack of action and utter neglect of this forum.😡

Anyway, we're being told that everyone in I-F DT is ''too busy'' to attend to this forum and that ''we should try to ignore trolls and spammers'' and just ''do our own thing'' instead of leaving the forum. And some are saying, ''we should be patient'' and not ''attack evil by being evil'' 🤪. Most puzzling, odd and joke-like responses ever.

I had invited some of my friends here when this show started. One of them posted thrice but never cam back again. Others simply looked at the forum and said they did not wish to join this site where such discussions were going on (members fighting, personal attacks, gossip on Aamir Khan's life or salary etc.). I would keep telling them to join or post, but they did not. Now I realise, even I made mistake of being active here. What my friends did, and what some earlier members of this forum did - staying away - was the best thing to do.

LASTLY to I-F team - if you all are 'too busy'' then better not make a forum at all. An un-regulated forum is like a jungle, a total mess. Dikhawe aur shoshebaazi ke liye forum bana dete hain! ''Look we have forums for every show on TV!'' 🤢

I-F team is too busy for SJ forum. Guess they only have time to maintain love story shows' forums!

We are also ''too busy'' then. And there are way more sites than I-F to discuss a show. Even an FB group would've been better than this hogwash on I-F.

Give me any WLs etc. I AM GOING. Don't care for such forums where mods and admins are ''too busy''.

Hey annika dont worry i said know Shabnam successfully forwarded my pm. The topic which recently questioned Aamir khan wage has been thrashed. Moreover you should follow my policy, i mean i dint even tell anybody in ma school or college about IF even after seven months of joining. IF is one site should be known by one's own wish and will IMHO.

👏 👏 👏 👏

I came on this forum a couple of hours ago and saw a flood of spam...I reported one of those posts and left...I come back now and it's all gone!!

THANK YOU!!!!!

Also, guys this problem of no mods is universal...Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya don't have mods either and these shows have been running for a very long time.
They have viewbies and coolbies...but that's not the same as having a mod...I understand we have neither...but still, it isn't a case of IF not paying attention to SJ...seems like a global problem.

Anyway, I'm just thankful for all the spam disappearing 😆 In such a good mood now!

Yes, these are shows from Star Plus...and I just saw the requests on the suggestions forum...you know, I just discovered...not many forums have moderators...but they do have coolbies and viewbies...this goes for other channels too...but I see Pavitra Rishta has a mod 😆...from the random popular shows I clicked...seems like PR is pretty lucky 😆

However, I also saw this

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Development Team: PurpleFairy , --sunshine-- , -Srushti- , khushix , .Mandy. , -Nadii- , minuu , -Nipun97-

TWO moderators and TWO channel moderators.

Then again, that forum experiences a lot of bloodshed...I've seen it and it's amazing 😆

In most forums Moderators are required when there are chances of heated arguments and controversies.

Admittedly our forum is not one of those fora where there would be crazy celeb fans running amok. Nevertheless, the issues raised in the forum are quite serious and polarizing. There is a greater need for moderation in this forum, else we would have people posting all kinds of trash - remember the lengthy "articles" supporting Honor killings and how difficult it was to get that member to stop talking religion and caste and all such.

Then there are people who would attack others about their beliefs and for simple plain-speaking. A few of us have been at the receiving end of personal attacks, hate PMs and the like. That we are undeterred by it does not absolve the forum for neglecting this forum.

In quite a few instances, we've seen that someone has been writing post after post of drivel and bashing other members, calling them names and what not and if there is one strong post asking the member to behave, we have Mods from other fora jumping in telling that member that their posts are polite.

Sorry if there was a dedicated Mod on this forum, such situations would not degenerate to the level they have. I used to have a sense of humor before, now I feel I'm entering a battleground with a US vs. Them mentality. This was not needed. Things should not have come to this pass.

Today, most regular members have lost what little faith they had in IF and its claims of being fair - why? Because we've repeatedly seen a blatant flouting of all IF COC and those who've protested have been rudely asked to shut up and not create problems for the CM because she has other things to do.

We still stick around because we love IF, we follow our own guide of what is wrong and what is right. Those of us who are regular members would not flout the rules of IF - with or without a moderator, because our own personal code of conduct would not allow for it.

But IF has to remember, we also love this show. And a hallmark of this show is that it asks the common citizen to raise a voice against wrong-doing. We ourselves, in our personal lives have been waging that battle - the lone voice against societal inequities. We would not be true to ourselves if we let madness reign here.

We would be glad to have someone do their job on this forum. If they can't we are quite capable of rooting out stupidity and handling miscreants. We are open to honest dialog and a healthy discussion and exchange of ideas. We don't allow dogma and narrow-thinking however.

Do your job, or we will do it for you. Don't accuse us of bullying later, because when we do speak or take action - it is forcefully.

That member has again started asking for Aamir Khan's apology after today's episode!🤢

You said it all Chitrashi. I couldn't have put it better.

The odd thing is that I-F team after taking a bit of action, now, at this juncture - after many active members leaving the forum, many abuses exchanged and several defamatory comments posted against the show and Aamir Khan - and after all the begging and requesting we members did for more than 2 months- the I-F guys are sarcastically telling us we need to appreciate their offer of help instead of making comments! 😲

I'd have loved to copy-paste PMs I have received from a certain I-F team person!

I'd only like to clarify here that neither I nor anyone else would ever had to make such threads or use such language if our pleas had been heard earlier! The show is about to end in 3 weeks for God's sake, and NOTHING was done to enforce I-F COC in this forum for more than 2 months. So we are bound to protest! And here, after taking some action at last stage, some are implying as if they did a favour or trying to label our comments rude or ''harsh''!

If I-F team had done its duty towards the forum regularly from day 1 or at least taken action from time to time, we would not have had to do all this! We're being treated as if we are some kids who pressurised elders with their ''demands''!🤢

People who are calling the members of this forum harsh, or lacking understanding or being rude or whatever are only trying to bluster because we've called out their lapses publicly. It is difficult to ignore or trivialize protest when it is done vociferously and publicly. So the response is to point the finger at the protestor and instead of openly admitting that they are wrong, accuse the protestor of being harsh.

Trivializing the legitimate demands of the others is another way of denying personal laxity. Treat the protestors as juvenile kids, lacking maturity and intelligence - and you rob them of a platform.

These are age-old tactics. Don't pay attention to them. All that was needed to stamp out this fire was a simple admission that yes there has been a dereliction and neglect and it would all have died down quietly and amicably.

There is still no action being taken against miscreants - btw. No warning to those who are still flouting IF COC. How interesting

Nothing happened Bewafa. I am only too thankful and obliged at offer of help and action I-F team took. Badi meherbaani.

At least they heard our pleas at this juncture! I bow to them!
