He IS not my loved one so I DON'T have to be there for him. He is VERY violent, VERY indulged drunk.YOU want to help,I'd be more than happy to provide you with his address.Then YOU can play Mother Teresa-I'm NOT suicidal!
Just be warned that he is ALWAYS armed with illegal powerful guns and is prone to pull them out and point them at terrified opponents and should it go off and kill you his mother will buy him his freedom-but of course YOU won't be there to see THAT.
Happy reformation of ONE alco-hic-lic.I will have NO TRUCK with this TWADDLE of reforming of criminals.If its an illness then it needs to be TREATED as a CONTAGIOUS one.The one thing-the ONLY thing-I learned from AA was that ONE alcoholic ADVERSELY AFFECTS the lives of a minimum of FIVE lives-I wasn't willing to sacrifice any more of my life to the altar of alcohol and blind son love,So I resigned from the family.

DON"T YOU DARE QUESTION MY EFFORTS IN THE PAST OR MY COMMITMENT!!!

PS= Could you change your topic to "Undeterred Alcohiclics,please?

Mother Theresa...please, don't bring her up in a post about doing something good for others.

This reminds me of the use of Gandhi in the DV episode. 😆 So, let us not bring that up.

Wow man...good on you for setting yourself free from that atmosphere. Thank the lord for some practicality in this world! 👏

Life of a grand DAUGHTER counts for NOTHING compared to life of SON & heir-This was a RICH,EDUCATED,LEFTIST COUPLE. FRAUDS!!

NOW? My daughter & I are safe-My mother & his wives-the "ENABLERS"-are regularly beaten.VICIOUSLY.If you make a thorny bed,you will HAVE to lie in it.

@Zem

Damn, I had no idea what a thorny past I was asking you to go over when I made that request. It was only supposed to be a humorous/sarcastic take on the other crybabies.

But seriously, I know the problems with enablers - though not as potent as the ones in your family. The enablers in my family, fortunately, have little power since we come from a middle-class family. Risen from the ranks of clerks and babus.

Sometimes I feel that it is better to be in the bad books than be loved by Enablers. They practice what is called "Killing Love". If one is constantly ignored by such people one can at a point get away from it all, but an atmosphere that centers around enhancing only the negative traits - that is like poison hidden in honey.

Correction, not "think", I am sure it will never happen to me. I have been drinking socially for almost 15-16 years but never got addicted and will never in fuure. I know many who are like me too.
But I agree with Aamir about the drink and drive hazards as I have done that myself a few times years ago. more stringent measures need to be taken for Drink n Drive. because there are many ways to escape getting caught with the machine the traffic police use to check alcohol level.
