on a news channel, a presenter asking aamir khan,

some doctors feel that the show has created a ripple in the relationship between doctor and patient.

now the patients are doubting doctors when they tell the patient to go for a test.

My take on it: i say its wonderful that patients are becomng aware to ask back the doctor what are the tests for.

There is a saying that "an educated consumer is always the best customer".
Getting a 2nd, 3rd or however many opinions is a patients perogative and no one shoud be bothered by it. In the long run it may both patient and doctor a lot of hassle and medico-legal problems.

LoL, some doctors are now going to get offended because patients go for a second opinion? 😆

I'm sorry Dr Ji, I value my life over the odd chance that I will offend you. 😆

Bullshit allegations! Even the Supreme Court of India gives rights to patients to ask questions to their doctors!

Nothing wrong and not disrespect or targeting of doctors if a patient chooses to ask or seek any clarification or explanation on treatment being done!

It is doctors' fault for getting angry or taking it as an insult if a patient chooses to exercise his right to ask! Their attitude is negative!

If patients are actually questioning their Doctors, then I should say that this is a great achievement for AK & his team👏

It is always advisable to get a second opinion for any major tests and to ask questions of your Doctor, and get more knowledge on the what & why of it. I always do 👏

Would these be Doctors, who didn't really qualify but were given seats and promotions because of some quota or the other? Any doctor who knows his stuff would welcome the questions by a patient.
