Sati presents her key witness, Roshan; and her opponent Sidharth suddenly feigns stomach trouble and asks for another date. Sati is sure Sidharth has got a trick up his sleeve.

M P Singh is restless with Sidharth's laidback attitude and decides to take matters in his own hands. At Sati's parents' house, her father gets an enquiry from a forty-five-year-old widower with two kids, asking for Anu. Priya bumps into Sidharth at a restaurant and she inquires whether Sidharth has started developing feelings for Sati.

Sidharth hires a local small-time lawyer as his assistant. Smruti gets a letter from her daughter in the boarding school that she wants her to get married again. Sati goes on the TV show with Rajdeep and she gets the public to vote for the reopening of the case. A strange woman watching the show comes and meets Rajdeep saying she has some very important information.
