Part 4Siddhant went near Mataji who was in conscious now...
Siddhant: How are you feeling now Mataji???
Mataji: I am fine Siddhant..
Siddhant: i was worried as our doctor was not here...
Mataji: So what... This doctor is having good knowledge and dedication...
Siddhant: how can you say that???
Mataji: i was hearing when she was instructing nurse while treating me...
Siddhant: ok ok.. Anyway.. you dont take much tension now.. just relax... we will talk everything later...
Mataji: hmmm...
Mataji closed her eyes...
Sujatha and Rajender were sitting with her...
Siddhant: pappa, i think you take maaji home and you both take rest... i will be here...
Rajender: Can you be alone here Siddhant???
Siddhant; Why not pappa... I can handle... You take rest and come later...
Rajender: Ok...
Rajender left to his house with Sujatha...
Siddhant sat in the side chair while Mataji was sleeping...
Siddhant was looking at her for sometime and went near the window...
He was looking outside at the busy hospital...
Patients... their relatives... their friends... doctors.. nurses...
The people were going here & there...
After sometime..
Siddhant suddenly heard the voice...
Roli: hello Mr... how can you stand near the window instead of sitting with patient...
Siddhant: no i just came here..
Roli: Just went there or from earlier i dont know.. See no one is with the patient now...
Siddhant: But i am here only... what is the worry...
Roli: In what belief you are telling what is the worry... what if something happens to her when you are there...
Siddhant: But if something happens... being i am only here can know that...
Roli: So it is ok if you are standing there near window instead of sitting looking at her right...
Siddhant: yes of course...
Roli: Mr... Tell me... Then why you blame Doctor for not being with patient all the hours...
Siddhant: What do you mean???
Roli: I mean like how you were confident that there is no need to sit beside her and can stand near the window... Same way only i was also in the hospital instead of staying with her... Like how you know that you can attend her even if you are little away in the room... same way i too know i can attend her though i am in other part of building...
Siddhant was standing speechless...
Roli: Moreover... You were just looking outside which is not even so important to do... But i was attending other patients who are similarly in bad condition... Each & every patient in the hospital is not admitted to relax... All are in some sickness and admitted to get treated... For Doctor all patients are equally important... So i cant stay with single patient to handle all 24 hours... Then what if other patient suffers as he or she not attended...
Siddhant: I accept...
Roli: Actually i was in a hurry to treat the patient & you were not in a condition to hear all these.. that is why i just replied for the moment and went... But decided to explain you the practical things when time comes & now the time has come... If you have any other concern on the treatment given by us or attending your Mataji... You can very well tell me... Also you can do whatever you said as 'Otherwise' in the reception...
Siddhant: Sorry... i was in tension of Mataji health as she was critical...
Roli: We doctor better know the condition of patient and we know how she need to be treated than you... But its neither correct shouting in that way... not correct to expect us to be superman to jump from our place to other place... When i came to know that Ambulance entered... I was in 3rd floor... I didn't even wait for life and was rushing towards Ground floor... That is when you were...
Siddhant: I am really sorry...
Roli smiled...
Roli: Its ok... Now its time for me to leave hospital as my duty time is over... I will check Mataji now and leave... If she is in need of treatment other than what nurse give her as i already instructed the duty nurse to do whatever needed... You are welcome to call me... Please note my number...
Roli gave her number while Siddhant stored it...
Roli checked Mataji and was satisfied about her health condition...
Roli: She is perfectly alright and as i said Nurse will be attending her then & there... Any difficulty you can call me... My house is nearby and i can come...
Siddhant: Sure...
Siddhant smiled...
Roli left the room leaving Siddhant amazed...
