It's an extraordinary day! A beautiful day! At least that's what Roli thinks. It has hardly been a few months since she got married to Siddhant. But most of all, it's their first outing together!
Roli is excited to be outside... roaming around... having fun. But Siddhant is annoyed. He is not the 'outside guy' types. He just loves to laze around, watch some TV, a nice match, sip on something... But most importantly, he's in this busy town for business. What on earth is she upto tagging along? Siddhant privately wishes that he could just dump her somewhere and run away.
Finally, afternoon, they hit the road. First destination: the beach, a favourite for many. "God! She's so annoying!" Siddhant mutters. Roli fools around, jumping around like a happy toddler. It's like she has never been out, ever. Roli runs around in the water like a free spirit, happy, excited. She feels like she's in heaven... "it feels so wonderful to be out with him", she thinks. "Just me and him. This is so beautiful!"
Siddhant watches Roli intently as she plays around. He nods his head, "she needs to grow up, seriously." His eyes glow warmly as he watches her. "She is annoying, irritating, stubborn and yet... there is something," thinks Siddhant. "Something cute about her... is it her smile? Her eyes? Her childlike innocence? Her... her... I don't know... something..."
"Let's walk around," says Roli. Siddhant snaps out of his trance. "What happened?" asks Roli, "why were you looking at me like that?" Siddhant's eyes dart around nervously as his brain storms to cook up an alibi, "what will I tell her?" he wonders, "if she ever comes to know that I was... ugh... admiring her... I'll never live it down."
Suddenly, Siddhant spots a lemonade vendor. "Lemonade! You look thirsty," he says. Before Roli can reply, he runs off and gets two lemonades. They sip up the cool lemonade eagerly. It sure is a hot day. Unintentionally, Siddhant's eyes fall on Roli... again. He watches her sip the juice like a kid and smiles, nods his head and sighs. Suddenly, he realizes something, his smile fades away. "It can't be," he thinks, "It can't be, can it? Am I in love...?"
